Its definitely an Adam Hughes styled look. I'm digging that too. Even though I still think its an obscure character, I said originally I'd get it if the price was right. An almost 20" statue for $199.99 is priced just right.

Yeah, I don't really collect Marvel anymore and sold all my statues, PFs, and dioramas, but this is one I will most likely keep.

People over at SF are saying that the scale of X-23 is off. Someone was saying that she's meant to be about 5'7" or 5'8", and that the statue is off being around 19.5 inches tall. A couple have even said that if it isn't in scale with other pieces in their collection, like the AH pieces, that they won't be keeping it.

Personally scale doesn't really matter to me, yeah it may be off, but I have all different scales in my collection and I think the bigger the better. I'm certainly not complaining about it being too big particularly cause of the price, I think $200 for that size of a statue is a really good deal.

So do you guys think the size is a typo on SS's site, or is it right? And would it bother you if it isn't in scale with other pieces in your collection?

Dont think it was typo... and yeah I agree that this is a really good deal. Even though it just seems wrong that X-23 is taller than Rogue!

i wish they had a good pic of how the medallion strap attaches to her neck. That would make a diff to me as to whether i even want that version, because it might not even look good. It looks like she has a painted on choker, and the exclusive medallion's strap is possibly screwed into the front of the choker?

Well now it says on SS's site that she's 18" tall. So maybe the 19.5" was a typo after all. If it's 18" including the base, then maybe the base is around 1", so the statue itself would be about 17". Seems like it may be more in scale now with the AH pieces, which I think is what people wanted in the first place. I'm still happy I got an Ex, the size is still pretty big for the price in my opinion.

I totally agree....I forsee this one has a huge potential of being special and most wanted statue down the road. I think it's the claw and the medallion.

Could this statue be depicting her as she is in the X-Force, or is that just wishful thinking on my part? Even if it's not the case, I'll still consider it to be in my mind when I have her in my collection.

Thanks for that man, that uniform is really cool looking. Even though the statue isn't her X-Force uniform I'll still consider that X on her belt to be representing the X-Men, and X-Force. They do look fairly similar anyway apart from the mask and red X on the X-Force uniform.

lol. Damn I cant believe she sold out so quickly... bets are on to see how quickly she'll show up on eBay for ludicrous prices. The flippers really ruin this hobby for us. That's one of the main reasons I'll quit, when/if I eventually do. I cant keep being a "sucka" and buying these pieces for several multiples of their RRP

is it because this would display nicely next to the Wolverine comiquette which happens to sport the same base logo? After all, this would make a nice bookend to it, being that they look related.
