I been looking at mine it is very nice. Its also very heavy. Probably die cast parts in guessing. The head is decent, but hot toys clearly better. For 200 dollars less than the hot toys version, this is nice...very nice to own.

More I stare I see tye slightly puffy jaw if you stare long eniugh. I personally hated the dx 10(whatever the t2 regular head was) head, but the dx 13 looked much better.

I think leather clothing is a winner, body is the same, the only downgrade is the head. This is a ñice figure to own for those on the fence.

Strong 2nd on that. Cheers

😳 Do you actually own a DX13 and compared them, or is this just going by pics of the DX13 and this release? Just curious

I do, see a page prior.
Crazily enough, absolutely comparable, with the sole exception being the head.
And there's a fix in that: put the DX13 on.
Little bit of work, but once done bob's your uncle.

My brother owns it, not me per-se. He was a big Terminator fan, and sadly quit collecting due to losing his job around the pandemic. He has never really recovered and lost passion for a lot of things.....so technically no, but I do have access to one.

Man, sorry to hear about your brother and hope he recovers. So much happened during that time and several are still trying to get back on their feet. Makes the rest of what I was gonna say a little pointless to be honest, but I will get back on topic.
I think this release is fine for a T2 Arnie, but the DX13 has two really nice sculpts compared to the Present Toys one. Two looks I absolutely love to have side by side on the shelf 😁 The DX is still one of my all time favorite figures after all these years and hard to beat in my eyes. Only thing that looks better in full battle damage is the EB 1/4 version, which was copied for this proto. That thing is a beast.
Anyways, if you love it that’s great cause that’s what the hobby is all about ……options 👍

Hot everyone i just received the figure. I tried the dx13 hs. It's way better but the neck is not the same as the hot toys body. I think the present toys neck is shorter so there is a gap as you can see in the pics.

@EndoSickness, how malleable was the head with the hairdryer once it was off? I'm wondering if a little heat and shape to the hair from inside the head sculpt may help.

I didn't use a hairdryer.
I used plyers and a stainless steel chopstick and used the angle on it as a chill way to apply force with a good oldfashioned lever. Popped right off.

Not bad at all, is this the best third party Terminator we've gotten?
Isn’t there also a Fishbone version of this battle damaged figure?

I thought one of the PT reviews posted today on YT mentioned that Fishbone (potentially) had the better head sculpt but the outfit is pleather - PT has the better body and leather.

Fishbone is a recast DX13 head. I knew it went up for pre order around the same time as this but didn't realize it actually released last year. I can't find the best videos or photos of it online but from what i've seen the sculpt looks decent. May be worth picking it up for the PT since the actual dx13 head is pricey on the aftermarket.
EDIT:
They have 2 in stock on toy anxiety. Not great but would probably look better than the stock PT.

Maybe it's the paint job but it just isn't doing much for me. I think the PT version is better. This is all subjective of course.
