Real leather on this one. AF has the better sculpt out of the two, but PT has the real leather.

Interesting how both companies make theirs at the same time.

I do like this version and is worth ordering for the different look + the outfit is real leather. However art figures will come out 1st, can see this being 2024 figure given how long they take.

The outfit on the AF looks a lot better imo. Not sure if that detail will hold up in the final product..

I may just get the dress shirt and pants second hand from this version for when the suit disintegrates on the AF version.

Wow, 2x Edwards! I'm liking the extra accessories with this one, but I kinda prefer the AF. The rooted hair could be the downfall here. It's a little boofy.
Still, loving that these companies are filling the gaps left by the "big boys".

Getting this one too! Having two options is a dream come true for me after so long of nothing. So glad I never bought the $1000+ custom. I can get both this and the AF one for less. Like I said in the AF thread, now I just need updated Willy Wonka and Mad Hatter figures since I no longer have the Medicom versions. Heck, given me a new Sweeney Todd with real leather jacket and belts too! When it comes to Johnny Depp, I’m like @Zurdo95D with Cap’n Marvel, I want them all and doubles!

Body on this doesn't look nearly lean enough, and I think the sculpt and expression on the other version captures the character a bit better.

Although the hair on this one does look more accurate to the super messy style of the movie.

Wow... another one.

I think the AF has the better body shape and better outfit (at least real working straps and buckles instead of molded)... but this PT might have the better head with the real hair. You could really get some great looks shaping that hair.

Overall for out-of-the-box ready to go... probably the Art Figure (based on pics only)

Agreed. Both have their pros and cons.

Art has the superior sculpt but Present has better accessories and leather.

I'm getting both - leave Art as is and pose Present with the dress shirt/pants.

I'll pick up the clothes from this one when parted out to replace my kit bashed ones on the HT.
Ordered the Art Figures for the main look.

I’m gonna have to get both. I prefer the overall look of Art Figures better and their stand is especially nice- but the additional clothing set with this is a must. Can’t guarantee the hair will even look this good upon release but it’s worth the risk. There certainly are scenes where Ed looks a little more… awkward like in the PT sculpt and, if I’m getting two representations of the character, I’d prefer two different sculpts. None of that Luke Skywalker/Superman syndrome here.

I just have too much nostalgia for that film to not go all in.
I’m sure I didn’t understand half of what was actually going on as a kid so an adult re-viewing is surely in order. I’ll add that to the Christmas list of things to watch with my brother when he comes to visit.

So anyone thinking this is 'real leather', just understand that these guys are thieves from the start, so do you really want to trust what they say?
