Presentoys it's officially on another lvl , this is probably their best so far

I'm not a big fan of the movie (don't get me wrong I think the movie its a fantastic cult classic) but I just don't like it enough to get a figure

Very Glad for the people who preorder it and for the ones that didn't, you better hurry cause something tells me this is gonna be a pretty rare and expensive figure aftermarket

He looks really good! The only drawback I can see is that the boots look a little big in the calves; otherwise, this has to be one of PT’s best, if not their actual best, releases so far.

Like the reviewer said, just needs a bit darker paint apps around the eyes which should be easy enough to achieve.

Might have to order a second instead of getting “artisan” Art Figures version

Would love for them to continue making Burton Depp characters with a rooted hair Sweeney Todd

I think hands down art figures has the better sculpt and I really hope with their artisan version you don't have to assemble again!

However this also looks incredible I have both on order with the plan on displaying 2 looks. PT did a solid job, got a 3rd party company I'm impressed. I'm wondering how difficult it's gonna be to put the shirt on though?

Looks like Present Toys have finally upped their game- just after I’d written them off as a third party contender.
The sculpt isn’t great like most of their sculpts but they’ve done a pretty good job on the hair. This certainly beats that rooted Rick Grimes they just attempted.
A little extra paint under the eyes, the eyebrows, and lips might help.

The original plan was to display one leathered up Edward and one in his civilian clothes. Not sure if I need a Scissorhands at all but he is a very unique looking chap.

At the very least, PT are back on the map for me so I can maybe have a little more faith in what they’ll announce next.

Very impressed with the hair !
The body ratio looks great and seems quite sturdy.

After 2 years, i finally opened up my Art Figure over the weekend, and assembling that thing wasn't fun. The 2 smaller leg buckles was one of the most frustrating things to deal with. Gave up after 30 mins and asked my wife for help.

Apart from the head (which i think Art Figures is still superior), everything seems better on the present toys. The scissors look less flimsy, hes not stick thin, there is some latex near his arms, theres is that black wire on the right hand (the AF gave you a piece of string that i didn't bother with), the material doesn't look overly thin and cheap. This looks great. Shame i didn't order it, but also don't need 2 of this character. If you can fit the AF head on this body that would be the ultimate combo.

I think this figure is a steal at under $300. PT definitely upgraded the figure compared to the prototype.

I too prefer the AF version, but this one stacks up nicely when compared to it.

These are still for sale on Giantoys website if anyone is interested. I would probably order quick as these appear to have sold out on other sites.

Agreed but I think you'd have a job especially with how fragile the hands are on AF.

If i were to buy both, i'd switch the heads and put the civilian clothes on the AF body with PT head, and AF head and PT body for the ultimate Edward Scissorhands

On a separate note, i also recently opened my Present Toys Wasteland Ranger (Mad Max) and its amazing. The leather coat might flake in the future and its a little too clean but apart from that I was blown away and i have quite a few Present Toys figures. They are really stepping up. Even had small sniper bullets made of metal to slide into his vest.

My first 2 PT was the Django Unchained and Michael Corleone from GF2. Django came with a Caucasian body they've come a long way.

That's my plan. I have the 1.0 AF, have this and the AF Artisan on order. So will be doing some mix and matching once I have all three available to me.
