X-Men 1 can kiss my *** because Blade 1 was the true original higher budget Marvel superhero movie to hit cinema no matter how much Marvel tries to deny that fact.
Nobody denies it. Blade was R rated and very dark. X-Men was the first family oriented big budget Marvel movie that along with Spider-Man two years later kickstarted the superhero genre bigtime in the 2000's. I love Blade and Blade II, seen them countless times since the early 2000's, but I don't really think "superhero movie" I think "badass vampire action movie"

Feige specifically said that XM1 was the first movie to put Marvel in the public conscious.

First first first he claims it first for everything.

He makes it sound like no one went to see Blade 1.

Blade 1 was so successful it got 2 sequels and was a trilogy before even the X-Men became a trilogy!

PG-13 or R all I know is that Blade did it first.

Erm....
Marvel Studios Boss Kevin Feige Says Modern Superhero Films Owe It All to Blade, Who's Coming to the MCU 'Someday'

If anything, I’m most glad that Blade 2 connected Del Toro with Luke Goss as I very much enjoy him as Prince Nuada in Hellboy 2.
The righteous and sympathetic vindicated villains are always fun. It’s only their choice of method that forces a hero to stop them.
I thought Nomak was really good as the tragic villain in Blade II, but Deacon Frost is still the best villain of the franchise

I saw this on the One Sixth Cave channel the other day and immediately said “Whaaat?! 😲”. I figured most companies would wait to see what Mahershala Ali’s version would look like, but Wesley is the still Numero Uno. The likeness looks “enough” like Wesley, but also a little like Clay Fontenot 😄 (his stunt double for the movies)

Also, the inclusion of the bomber is nice, but not entirely accurate. Blade wore his vest OVER his jacket in both movies, but this isn’t a detail that couldn’t be corrected before release.

I haven’t watched it in a very long time… but at the time I remember disliking Blade II. The posh vampires of the first movie were so good and fun to me that the jump to junkie hobo vampires was too much. I’ll have to watch it again to see if I disagree with my old self.

I like both but I do prefer 1 over 2.

3 Directors Cut when Snipes is on is still fun.
For me it's really close between 1 and 2, both are great, but I think 1 is my favorite too. I love the dark tone and world building aspect of it, and the fight scenes were off the chain. The opening scene in the blood rave with Blade's entrance is incredible. I also still enjoy Trinity as well, despite it having a lot of problems. Killing Whistler off AGAIN after like 20 minutes really annoys me every time, and Blade's screentime getting shafted in favor of the new characters and the villain is easily the worst of the series, despite being Dracula.

My only concern is actually for the leather parts.
I have the Present Toys Indiana Jones V2- which apparently has a thinner leather jacket than V1- but it’s still very thick.
Real leather may have the longevity down but it won’t sit or drape right and could hinder articulation if the material is too chunky.

It all looks excellent in the promo pics though and Jones shows they’re making efforts to thin the leather down. They’re doing a few Terminators before this so that should give a good indication of how Blade outfit will turn out.

I might pick this up just for the leather parts. My Hot Toys version is still fine but good to have a backup set of clothing
Exact same boat - my HT still looks awesome and shows no wear, but that paranoid inner voice tells me this might be worth picking up just in case.
