Yeah the MMS117 was a bit pin headed. Still a nice figure though, one of my early HT pick ups. This sculpt looks pretty good, anymore pics floating about? Would be interesting to see how it looks with the shades on.

Still waiting to pick up a superior Arnie sculpt for my Galleria fig, after all these years. :impatient:
`Yeah I saved other pics

Again, for anyone just tuning in, not my pics, not my figure and not the Present Toys figure.

Well I think I am NOT going to sell my DX13 ex— I think the value of it will dip, but not enough for me to sell and then pick this up… this is just no quite up to par…

InArt … paging InArt…

Yeah, that custom sculpt looks on point! I would certainly pick it up if it hit the market. Not sure if there is enough general interest for a company to release another Arnie sculpt? Maybe on the back of this PT release with what appears a bit of a dud sculpt that situation might change. :dunno

I owned an extra DX13 I sold last year for around £550, so that fig seems to be still fairly sought after.
The DX13 is still the best in terms of likeness imo. As others have said a battle damaged sculpt is easier to get away with then a clean sculpt. Us humans are just too good at recognising individual faces, so minor difference can usually be easily identified. It has to be one of the hardest things to do in art, capture an accurate facial likeness.

Not my figure, not my pic, taken from Facebook

Sculpt I believe is by one Kayak Zhang. Someone in the DC section once drew my attention to it but I paid it little heed at the time.

Definitely a better sculpt than this PT one, probably better than DX10. I think he sized it too small though. Looks like he was keeping it in line with the neck of this particular body but the general proportions have ended up looking wrong - it's kinda like a stock MMS117 which always looked a bit pinheaded.
Is it Present Toys body?

Received the invoice from OSK but I have the DX10. I'm not sure if it's worth paying for this one at this point. Will definitely get the BD version though.

Hi all - I'm very much a newbie in this world, so still learning. I'm a big Terminator and Arnold fan, so I thought I should pick up some Terminator representation. :) I'm trying to figure out what my options are in the figure/statue space. I don't really want the articulating/toy-like items like the Neca action figures, but something a bit more upgraded I can put next to some DC Direct stuff I have.

I'm struggling to figure out what my options really are in this space. I see things about piecemealing stuff together, older releases, and now this newer release. This one I'm not sold on because of the likeness... I want it to look like Arnold. :) Anyways, thought you all might be able to help guide me to some good options out there. I'll probably cross-post to the battle-damaged version thread, too.

Thanks all!

While I agree it might be a tad too small, the sculpt itself and paint app looks very good. What does a custom like this cost? I know ebay is full of 1/6 Arnie heads but who knows what you're getting in hand? Are there even mass-produced 3rd party heads that are worth buying in terms of quality?

Looks like will need a neck adapter for the DC10 head. Pic is from OSK FB group so I take no credit for it.
