This is a pretty awesome figure for the price. Mine did come with a minor defect on the jacket, it’s hard to tell though. Asking for a replacement will be impossible.

This will be my second figure from KGH that’s had a defect of some sort. Will now switch all of my 3rd party ordering to Kit moving forward as I’ve never had any issues with them.
I’m looking at doing same although those QC issues would not be Kg’s fault would they? Their prices are pretty identical anyway and because Kit doesn’t charge for shipping, that’s good news.

Definitely not KG’s fault but getting replacement parts from them have been pretty difficult.

Justin's voiceovers come off more like Compunction Statements from Severance's 'Break Room' than anything else.

Respect for his work rate, but muting is a necessity for me watching any of his videos.

I think the Worldbox AT011 doesn't have a painted chest. But I'm looking forward to your reviews.

I wonder what the origins of the body is. Sculpture-wise it's nice, but it is way too creaky that it feels like it could break especially at the shoulders.

Screenshot from a new review. Did anyone esle catch this before? The cylinder actually opens.

Mine just arrived yesterday and When I looked through this thread, I just figured everyone was being a little too harsh on the smiling head, and that I’m sure it’d look better in person and let me just say… you guys were right :slap
But I also felt like there was just something off about it, and after I while I think I’ve figured it out(and it applies to both heads), the eyes are wrong. Ford doesn’t have blue eyes, they’re more like a brown/green, they just look different in every movie, so I got to work repainting the eyes, and I gotta say, I’ve done a complete 180 on the head, it’s not 100% but it’s a whole lot better and I may even display him in my collection with the smiling head now:yess:
Let me know what you guys think,
Here are the before and afters

And what about the base body for articulation, is it better to swap it out🤔

Got my Indy in yesterday from OSK. It is…OK. The body is complete garbage—can’t stand on its own and the arms can’t get even remotely close to his sides. The coat was borderline impossible to get on all the way due to the huge arms. I am more forgiving now to how badly many of the reviewers had this futzed. I also had a massive shiny paint rub spot on the top front of his hat on the normal sculpt, so not a great first impression when you have to try and do paint touch-ups right out of the box. Will probably have to go back and redo it to try and get the color to match better. The smiling sculpt is pretty bad and will never leave the box again, it also has paint rub on the hat in different spots. Trigger hand can’t hold the pistol. Collar on my figure’s shirt is much larger than a few others I have seen, such as the one Justin reviewed. The lapel on the jacket collar is longer on the right side than the left. The jacket also wasn’t put inside the plastic bag it came in with any care so one of the pockets was halfway folded over and wants to stick up, I need to figure out how to flatten it down which will probably require getting the coat back off.

So yeah, it’s just alright. Probably a 6/10 figure for me. Please do not go and spend $300 on this. This picture was after close to an hour of painting and futzing and trying to arrange the clothes/jacket/belts.

All things considered that's actually a solid picture and makes him look great! Ha.

Why?

Do we not appreciate the humor, irony, and twisted misfortune of witnessing other collectors overtaken with "must have it" pathos and willfully overspending their hard earned $ on a 1:6 mediocre figure that is viewed with disappointment considering the unbelievable hype?

You know. Like buying an Asmus figure.

I'm all for collectors experiencing and learning the hard way . . . repeatedly.
