Holy ^^^^! That McCain pic is the funniest thing ever.

Oh and MESA, im gonna use your Idea for my experiment.

I did see that speech, and honestly... it wasn't all that bad.. I actually agreed with some of her points and was shocked she actually came out and said it. Reminded me of one of those speeches you give your coworkers when you get fired...

"**** you, **** you, **** you, you're cool, *** you... I'm OUT!" :lol

I think it was too much, but not so bad that Repubs should say.. "It's all her fault that we didn't reach an agreement... that speech ruined my day." :banghead

That's not what happened, at least not how I saw it. I know it's what was shown on CNN, but, well, you know how that can be sided. Republican's didn't like the first bailout. It wasn't a well written plan. If it was, you wouldn't have had 95 democrats that also voted against it, and since democrats control congress, they didn't need any republican votes anyway.

Pelosi knew the plan was crap. She wanted republican's to vote for it in case it fails she can blame that on them too and if they don't vote on it, she can blame that on it too.

Disclaimer: I'm just posting the pics because I find them incredibly amusing, and because Obama seems to be the majorities savior it's more fun to go after him. I wouldn't walk across the street to shake either of the candidates hand.

That reminds me... I was at a restaurant the other day and overheard two elderly gentlemen discussing the election. One asked the other, "If you could ask either candidate a question, who would it be and what would you ask?" The answer: "I'd ask Obama if he could turn the water into wine after he was done walking on it." :lol :rotfl :lol :lol

It's her fault too, not saying it's not... but a speech shouldn't matter in the long run. Just vote yay or nay, dammit.

That was the point I made earlier. Vote on the freaking thing and don't come up with some lame ass excuse saying my feelings where hurt. Your a politician and they don't play by any set of rules.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Something that hit me last night before I went to bed in regards to Mesa new avatar. He earlier said he would violate someones 1st amendment rights when it came to the flag because he didn't like it, and that if someone wanted to do that they should move to Syria or Iran. Its because of the 1st amendment that he gets to have something like that which I/others find insulting. Maybe one of those people would like to punch him in the face? This probably makes no sense at all but I find it funny that a guy who questions others patriotism and wants to take away first amendment rights uses it to demean another person.

I think its sad that both sides have to come up with demonizing things, like pictures, about the opposite side. Further proof this country is on epic fail because neither side can be gracious in victory or defeat. Weaksauce.

I agree or they go after things that have little no bearing on how they'll run the country. No wonder things are all dicked up.

I think every election it just becomes more and more malicious. Maybe its because so much of my communication is on the internet and the internet is just a malicious place anyways, but I think some of that is also translating into traditional media as well as people on the street.

Whoever wins, I'm planning on accepting it and moving forward.

The internet is the worst of places but you are seeing it more. Think of all the swift boat ads on Kerry in 04. I've seen some pretty odd ones for local races here in Missouri which sadly I have to see every day.

That's funny Josh, because I had the same revelation last night too. When I said it was unpatriotic for a person running for president to not show repect to the flag, all sorts of excuses were given, including Freedom of Speech. And if someone wanted to burn, piss, or spit on the flag, that was within their rights, Freedom of Speech, which I agreed with, just advised not to do it in front of me, or as Bannister put it, my Fists of Fury would go flying. And all sorts of people defended their right to do said acts to the flag.

But then my simple little avatar which is nothing but a play on words/letters is offensive and you're butt hurt over it? I think you even said "That's too much." What a hypocrite. :lol:lol:lol

Freedom of speech works both ways, not just when it's something you agree with.
