Pelosi's speech should not have cursed the bailout to failure, it should have just been ignored and they should have just focused on the task at hand. Besides, that bailout plan should be carefully gone over before being passed, we don't need any more rushed legislation out there that can potentially damage things in the long run. Besides, people need to develop a thicker skin and not let such a thing bother them anyway...

I too believe that the radical left and right are causing a split, even if I connect more with the left. People just don't believe in the same things and that will ALWAYS cause tension. No way around it.

And did you see the speech given tonight by republican Senator (after agreeing on a revised plan, I forget his hame), and giving full thanks to Democratic Senator Dodd? Complete opposite.

What's that saying about attract more flies with honey than vinegar. Pelosi could take a lesson.

You really haven't rebuked anything Josh. Just because you reply doesn't qualify as a successful counter stance. Most of your rebukes have been personal, based on emotion, and often just your opinion or whatever you happened to see/read at the moment.

I gave up on trying to communicate with you when you called my beliefs "moronic" earlier this afternoon simply because you didn't agree with them.

I have yet to see any of your statements backed up with any sort of factual evidence. You have a long way to go in learning how to debate someone. I won't be addressing any more of your posts this evening, so have at it, fire away... bang bang.

I did see that speech, and honestly... it wasn't all that bad.. I actually agreed with some of her points and was shocked she actually came out and said it. Reminded me of one of those speeches you give your coworkers when you get fired...

"**** you, **** you, **** you, you're cool, *** you... I'm OUT!"

I think it was too much, but not so bad that Repubs should say.. "It's all her fault that we didn't reach an agreement... that speech ruined my day."
