This doesn’t bode well in regards to fixes but at least he asked the guy to message him privately.
I’m still under the impression if we spam them for changes they might listen but we need to get something wrote up for us all to share to them. As noted previously, I’d do it but I’m definitely not in the know enough. Given the intricacies of the T-800 endo, and how many different versions there have been on the market, I think most people, myself included, are confused at this point as to what is actually accurate to the movie. I’d like to give Prime 1 the benefit of the doubt and say they were confused too but they really should have done their homework.
Hey mate I'll give you a simple list of must haves (critical to accuracy and without these is a BIG endoskeleton SIN) and also a 'maybe' list (things that won't be easy to change and they likely won't give a stuff about, or we could get lucky maybe?)
Must have changes:
* Neck pistons too flared out, both need to be more towards the centre, however not completely vertical, still needs to have a slight triangle look.
* Neck cable connected incorrectly. The connection is from the side of the skull (human ear area). They have connected it from behind the skull, which is utterly wrong. They got this right in their T1 endo, God knows why they stuffed it up on this one.
*The front quad piston of upper legs both pistons require hose attachments to the rear part of its gate. The inner quad (Ham string piston) behind also require a hose attachment in each leg. Without these hoses the endoskeleton would be incomplete and missing parts.
*Teeth needs to be shorter (I take it Johnny don't want to change but we can at least ask). In fact we should ask ask given they have a history of downgrading the teeth! Fixing the teeth would also automatically fix the both the proportions of the skull and shape of the jawline altogether.
Maybe list:
*Nose cavity slightly too big, only needs about a 10% reduction.
* Limb and torso proportions are off, legs too skinny and torso needs both more width and depth. It's an endoskeleton of a body builder not an anorexic Ken doll.
*Left arm holding rifle is cocked sideways. I want my endo to hold rifles straight and streamlined and not like a big wannabe G lol.
*The weathering is lame, it's just black dots, they could blend the weathering in more well with its chrome and give the statue overall a little more depth and weight. Sprayed dots and spots on chrome is lazy and gives it a soiled aluminium type look.
I'm not even going to mention the base as I don't think they will change a thing and it could risk my objective feedback labelled as a Debbie downer. But my focus is on the endo, I can live with a lame base.
If they implement the must list I may PO this. Otherwise I know it's an inferior product that I won't be happy with, especially given this thing is going to cost almost 2k, which is freakin expensive given that's the price of their T1 endo.
