As seen last week in the Prime 1 Next Level Showcase.

There was footage for about 30 seconds in the feed (no face sculpt shown) and then they removed it after the live broadcast.

I believe it said it was a collaboration with Blitzway.

Perhaps. But the license and likeness costs combined with the unique nature of the piece (it's fooking Ripley, after all) could also give them ideas to mark it up to high heaven.

and if that happens I will pass on this too, like the 1/3 Jungle Hunter bust, and anything else from this hobby that comes out with a stupid price. Sick of being bent over by statue companies with their silly prices. Maybe if people start voting with their wallets instead of giving in to each price hike, companies won't keep doing it. They only do it because people keep buying.

This should have been a 1/3 for such an iconic and rarely made character. Going to be hard for any pair ups now. Ripley deserves better.

I wonder why not 1:3...All of their recent Alien stuff has been 1:3. Seems weird to bust out a random 1:4.
I don't think they have the movie licence for 1:3, Cool Props has that. Most of their 1:3 Alien stuff is comic based. As this is a joint venture with Blitzway and has nothing to do with Cool Props, I can understand the 1:4 decision. Personally I'm happy about it, but I can understand why people wouldn't be.

They just did 2 versions of Big Chap in 1:3. Seems like they could have done a 1:3 Alien Ripley.

But the Big Chap is marketed as non-scale wall art. The Warrior gets the 1/3 label, but is listed as a comics piece.

I wish they would take Ripley off her boots, reminds me of a child putting their name on clothes incase they lose them

You're right. I meant, the way they cheat things, seems like they could have done a 1:3 "wall art" Ripley, or an "oops we oversized it to about 1:3 scale" 1:4 scale Ripley. 🤣

This. Plus the base will probably be the size of a ping pong table w/ every imaginable embellishment.
