The biggest thing that happens to me is I miss the 'early processing' emails from time to time and then, I have to call to see if I'm eligible.

One just came in. My first Prime 1 piece and it is awesome! I got an Ex, but I like the full mask better.

I had to do the blow dry trick for the cape, but I did not see a paper directing to do so. Thanks to all that shared the tip!!!

I may need to recheck my cape.

Has anyone gotten there's in without heating it up? I'm getting worried because I kind of wedged mine in and fit, without heating. I guess that's not a bad thing though?

Did the instructions say you HAD to heat it up?

Nope, it just said if it doesn't fit to be careful and use a hairdryer. It seems like everyone didn't even get the instructions. Mine were actually wrapped around the cape.

WOW' this continues to blow everything out of the water right now.The sculpts are real nice and the base has to be best in show.Everyones photos and videos are damn' nice.Really a great piece.

This looks sweet! unfortunately I cancelled mine and will probably buy it later on down the road. We may never get a vampire spider ever again. This is very special. I remembered seeing the comic covers around the comic shops.

My EX came in yesterday, the cape was already broken in the box, lol. I emailed Sideshow so hopefully they can send me a replacement. Once I get the replacement cape I'll probably pack it away in the box and just use the broken one. I know there are some who think Sideshow handled the manufacturing of this piece, and there is no way that happened, unless they made the capes. Aside from the cape, there are no QC issues with this piece. The engineering on this statue is mind blowing, and 700 is a steal. This is be a sleeper hit for sure.

I'm sure it was joke, but he's not a vampire spider. (Just posting, in case though.)

His fangs are for injecting poison only, but to your defense, he does have to bite them, sooooooooo......

Arrived with a chipped/missing tooth on the EX head sculpt, doesn't sit flush on the base, fingerprint on the light switch dome portion, absolutely destroyed back webbing (five pieces), and the back spire piece won't attach securely and falls off without any influence.

WOW. That sucks, Chronos. Sorry to hear.

Are you going to ask for a full replacement or a just a few parts? I ask because be prepared: Sideshow will have to go through Prime, so the wait time for a decision will be a lot longer than the already long wait. If you do a full replacement, I'm willing to be they have those on hand, BUT they might not.

As for the packaging, I'm not sure, Sky. I'm thinking it was Sideshow, BUT I could be completely wrong.

Sideshow won’t let you do a full replacement for Prime 1. I had that problem with Optimus Prime so I just returned it and ordered another.

Yes. It’s worse when the exlcusive is sold out and you have to settle for a reg or buy an ex off someone for extra.

I just watched Gem mint collectibles unboxing vid on the tube, it looked like apart from the body of spider man everything else is plastic.
(now, before I go any further I will mention that I own and love the IS spider man which has plastic components to it, so I'm not hating or anything, just interested to know if the base is plastic on this 2099 spidey).

The base on this is very intricate and complex, I can understand that it would not be possible to manufacture that type of setup out of polystone.

I think the 2099 is an amazing looking sculpt, and love the look of the web-cape. Congrats to all that purchased.
(That EX head is wicked).
