28kg is really heavy for a piece that size lol. At this moment I got nowhere to display this or that can even hold that weight. Prob need to spend £200 on a nice glass display and £200 to stand to hold the display!

Finally bit the bullet on this one, I wonder how large the box is (for shipping purposes).

You will regret it if you dont secure one so well done for ordering! Theres still like 4-5 months to sort out finances for anyone who is thinking of ordering one.

I hope the shipping be around $100.

Yeah! :hi5: I just hope that SS spaces future releases to allow my severely tightened budget to recover

still trying to decide. Do I need a high end Transformers section of my collection???

I think the fact that you have obviously been reading and following this thread and posted 'do I need..' tells me a simple answer is yes. In fact anyone who has been following this thread regularly obviously wants one. So no excuses, get one! Hit the pre-order button with SS and there, you are committed, simple as that, then argue with the misses later :lol

I got quoted $400 for the vader lsb and I think this will be heavier/bigger :horror

I ordered the Tumbler from SS and it was $35. I know it's not as heavy but it is a big piece and a quite a big box as well.

How do SS calculate their shipping costs, is it dimensional weight (as in the size of the box)? Or Weight and Dimensions?

from my perspective in Japan the cost get more higher if the box dimensions is too big. Weight play huge factor also.
recently i received the 89 batmobile the box was so huge and heavy
but in Japan the shipping was free for me ..I dont how much it will cost shipping outside of Japan.
anybody bought the 89 Batmobile? how much shipping cost?

Prime1 told me Megatron will come in 3 separate box not too big
probably the cost will be cheaper as you may think. smaller
than the tumbler box.

New Galactus statue comes in a massive box and the shipping was $86 to the UK.

Has anyone got a definite cost of delivery to the UK, I hate it when sideshow say they can't tell you until it's in stock :( I mean what more info do they need.

And after a hard think last night I woke up this morning with a definite decision that I'm ordering this as I know I will kick myself in a few years time when the pics of prime and megatron together get posted.

Where did you get that info from? As if its $86 sideshow will get my order :yess:

My order will be shipping on the 16th $86.00 shipping and my friend on this forum already had his shipped for $86 to the UK. :)

I didn't mean $86 for Megatron by the way, i was talking about Galactus.

Not a bad price, so don't think Megatron will be that much more.

Shipping is not bad but its not until you recieve that Fedex letter regarding the customs import charge when you get a shock!

Not for the feint hearted....

Customs Import Charge for the Wolverine LSF was GBP280.00!!!
