if the gold is weathered then it likely will not bring out those detailed parts in the inner body. I am surprise that there are so much detailed in the inner part. Can you see what is this ?

Yeah probably from people that want the statue but can't afford it. What better way to make yourself feel better about that fact than slagging the paint off.

The Optimus thread is the same, it went from "OMG this is the best thing EVA!!" to "OMG this is so expensive this is worse than AIDS!" in the space of about 5 pages!

I agree these things are pricey but their not the first collectable to push that price. Cinemaquettes are bloody expensive plus they had the gall to INCREASE the price of their Vader by $400 when stocks ran low and demand got higher and imo this and optimus are much more detailed.

My local supplier has not received any notification that this delayed and he told me yesterday he is still expecting it in April??

Are we sure this has been delayed or is it just SS not keeping their official retailers informed?
