W=600 mm (23.4 in) L=600 mm (23.4 in) H=800 mm (31.2 in)

At 23.4" round I would have no place to display this guy, that's twice as deep as a besta

The W and L dimensions you provided are just the base, you have to take into account the extendable blade, if you look at the picture it goes off from the base and you need that extra room.

That's not an overstatement either,it literally is that big.
I was never fan of big bases.Just a waste of space unless they really need to be that big which is the case with Megatron because of his massive feet.

How do you activate LED lights for the eyes? Does it come with a AC adaptor or is it batteries?

It takes batteries. They probably thought it was too much hassle to run the wires for 2 little led's.

It's a shame because with batteries you end up being more inclined to leave them off 95% of the time.

How do you switch the eyes on? Is it by the head? I be getting a custom made stand for this so I need to specify where I need a gap so I can put my arm though the display and turn it on without taking the acrylic stand off. It's a pain in the a*s I tell you that!

This waiting game is killing me and probably everyone else. Who really thinks this will be out in May, after being delayed several times? I reckon they will start shipping in June, if not July.

Optimus will probably ship between April to June 2015, no way it will ship in January.

Bee probably ready for pre-order in the 4th Quarter 2014 and probably released in early 2016 (after delays).

Perish the thought! If Optimus takes till June next year I shan't be impressed, June this year is bad enough!

You not getting Megatron? That is a big resist, don't know how you are holding it in after being teased with so many pics and videos! You probably might need to get it because I for one never trust SS release date because most of dates are all a load of BS. I never had one release arrived on month estimated. If SS knew what the non BS realistic date is, most people get turned off and SS don't get their batch of orders they need to manufacture.

So OP next summer I reckon, with that much demand and pressure to release this quality, there be delays all the way....

Yeah I don't know, I'm trying to resist with Megs, he's not my fav character but I love the detail, but then I think if I get him, Prime, Bee, Samurai Prime and who knows what else then my wallet will be seriously hurting, but Megs is tempting cos the wait is so short compared to Prime.
