Just keep in mind, from the photos of my BVS setup, that those aren't just a black line but the black bevels of two Glassvik doors (top and bottom).

Yeah, I figured that, I just didnt describe it well. :)
Display looks great!

Anyone know of a nice discount code? :rolleyes2

Congrats to all th fans receving this piece!!!!!!

From top to bottom the color palette is very rich and vibrant! The translucent resin absorbs light giving another look depending on the conditions,
The face has a vibrant black color but you can find a deep blue hue at some spots, i think the cowl is amazing!

Is this a good representation on how he looks in hand?
On a lot of the videos I've seen, he looks mainly grayish.
But looking back at some of these pics, it looks like his suit has a blue hue in it.
Bluish tint is probably lighting/ camera. But looking at the suit again after I posted this, the gray does lean a little to the blue side.

No prob.
Generally speaking, the raised areas of the suit have a slight bluish highlight whereas the recessed areas are a darker gray. The base color is in there somewhere. :D

Nice! Yes, I really like having some sort of bluish tone to it.

The color of the suit looks amazing in person. You definitely will not be disappointed. :)

Definitely, the color of the fabric used coupled with the sculpting and various shades give off a unique look, Out of all my statues this is the only one that adapts and reflects perfectly to respective lighting conditions:

See for yourselves, it's like a different statue each time:

Oh man, those pictures are breath taking.

The truth is, I did PO this beauty a couple of days ago. But the next day, I felt guilty and almost cancelled it.
It's all about the principles of collecting...my budget allows me to live modestly with collecting 1/6 hot toys along with custom pieces also.

So the 1/2 scale along with the $2k price is making me feel guilty, specially since we're spending money right now renovating up the house.

Believe it or not, my gf is actually the one pushing for me to buy it, and keeps telling me not to cancel it. (Yes, she's a keeper)
So I think I'm gonna go through and sell figures that are multiples of the same character. I think selling of the multiples can fund this bad boy.

We are converting one of the rooms as a man cave, so I think this can be the centerpiece of the room. :)

I contemplated cancelling my order with Sideshow as well, but considering I was lucky enough to get it when they had the 15% off sale I knew I'd probably never be able to get it at a discount like that again so I kept the order. I am so glad I did because it's an absolutely stunning piece, even better in person than in pics. If you end up getting this piece I promise you won't regret it. :)

Thanks man.
Yeah, I Remember when it was on sale, but at the time, I was like...don't even think about it. Lol.
Wish I would have had that discount.
Congratulations!

Yeah, I keep getting that feeling you get when you feel you'll regret it if you pass,
And if this sells out, there's definitely no way I'll be able to get it.

So I think I made the right decision.
Now to sell my figures. Lol

You did make the right decision. In my opinion this is the best Batman suit we have seen on screen (even better than the JL suit) and when it is sold out i can't see this figure losing value.

I agree with you completely. This is by far my all time favorite batsuit, the others don't even compare. This has been also the closest we've seen the movie suit, look much like the comicbook.

I think I have yet to read anyone from any forum say they like the JL suit than BvS.
The design of this suit is timeless.

It's not like i am complaining or griping over aything with this statue, but been thinking about it sometime...so quick question of the day: Would you like P1 to do a switch out head for this piece???

I was a bit disappointed these pieces didn't have some sort of switch out. In particular Superman i wanted switched out clenched fists. This statue would have been good to have a switch out hand with a grapple gun or the gun on the armored batman sideshow statue.

For the price I do wish Batman and Superman would have had an additional headsculpt. I would have also liked to see Batman come with swapout hand holding either a Batarang or the Kryptonite Grenade launcher, and I would have liked Superman to come with a set of fisted hands in addition to the regular ones.

I don't mind only the one headsculpt because any time you have a character like this grimacing, smiling or making any other facial expression it usually just looks odd. He's got the all business, ready to kick some ass look with this sculpt and I'm cool with that. :)

I see your points guys, on the other hand these big statues are aimed for museum-style display purposes and this is why the switch outs aren't included, especially Batman statue is very huge and massive and it wouldn't be very fitting to change position and tamper with every now and then. Joker 1/2 is much smaller and closer to 1/3 scale according to the pics and vids I've watched.I rarely open the door case and don't plan to make any pose changes. Having said that, i know fans desire dynamic stances but at this size and body proportion would be very difficult. Personally, i am fond of how it is.

About the head sculpt i do wish P1 goes for another option as well but i believe this is very difficult to happen. The designing process for the HD line was very demanding and i am not sure it's easily feasible.

I took some unusual side shots of Bats:

The back!! the cape is so damn huge!! i still prefer the flowing effect of the cape as i have it instead of tucking the pleats backwards like the majority have it. i am a bit concerned with handling the cape carefully to avoid creases or wrinkles, even though it's very well made.
