Nice pics, however the cape needs to be adjusted where the pleats go over the bottom edges of the cowl.

I know man the way i display him isn't 100% accurate to the movie representation, when i first purchased this piece 2.5 months ago i adjusted the cape tucked backwards but it was hiding away and concealing the beauty of this wide and well made cape. So i decided to stretch it to full extent down the edges of the cowl, stressing the flowing effect and size of this cape. I prefer it since it's more reminiscent of the comic visual,

Here it is, i think it works perfect and suits my ''Batman'' preferences:):

Would those display units fit the WW 1:2 statue in it? Need to track down those sort of quality display units in Australia for my trinity 1:2 and Chuckys (good and bad) 1:1.

What is the name of the company you bought those display cases from Odysseus? I wan't to check out their work.

Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said about this piece. It's simply amazing. The definitive Batman statue on the market and one that will probably not be topped for a long time(if ever) in my opinion. Fortunately it arrived safe from Sideshow with no damage, defects or flaws of any kind. Without a doubt this is one of my favorite pieces and I'm so glad I pulled the trigger when SS offered it for 15% off for those brief few days.

In no way do these pics do it justice, but they're the best I've got for now with my camera phone.

Congrats Brent! Glad you're really happy with it. I agree I think its the best definitive Batman statue out there. I'm not sure if you noticed yet but you've got his belt on upside down.

Thanks for the nice words and no I hadn't even realized that I'd put the belt on upside down. As Jack so perfectly said in A Few Good Men "well, don't I feel like a ****ing a$$hole". :lol

Don't think you're the first person to do that.

And I'm not totally sure, but from your photos I think the pleats are not as flat along the bottom of the cowl as they can be.

I've adjusted the cape since those pics were taken. ;)

I'll try to get some more photos up tomorrow with the belt and cape now properly done.

:lol You definitely aren't the first person who's done that.

How do like 1:2 compared to lifesize? I've got two 1:2s and absolutely love them, but do you think lifesize pieces are worth however many times more they are than a 1:2? I'd love to get a lifesize piece eventually but I don't know if I can justify the price.

I'm always going to be partial to life-size over everything else, but I will say this 1:2 Batman is probably my 3rd favorite piece in my entire collection after my 1:1 Vader and 1:1 Joker. I have 3 different 1:2 scale Iron Man pieces and I think it is even more impressive than them.

Belt is on right side up now and cape has been flattened along the cowl. I love this damn thing! :yess:

Congrats Brent72 on scoring a fantastic piece...it's going to be a long time before this one is topped. FYI, those pleats are actually designed to fold over the edge of the cowl. You can still flare out the cape wide over the shoulders. Love the life size pieces!
