The Ultimate still has a great likeness I think, but it does look like a more stylized take on her in comparison.



I haven't been able to find much beyond what we've seen already, but I do love the way it looks in this shot:

Wonder if Hot Toys can do a likeness to Gal in 1/6 like this?

Scale is scale. The base has nothing to do with it.

And regarding the 1/6 Hot Toy figures. There hasn't been much love for the accuracy of the facesculpts themselves (except for the Training version). I have the BVS, and I'm expecting the JL one soon. But supposedly the Training Uniform version is the best facesculpt by far (a facesculpt which is almost identical to the JL version, but possibly with slight molding differences which seem to impact the likeness quite a bit for some reason).

I have the HT WW BVS and Training versions. Was going to get the JL but it didn't seem right so cancelled. The Training version is a pretty good FS. Now I have this Prime 1 normal version statue that has a close likeness to Gal on pre-order and on the wait-list for ultimate. Hopefully one ultimate version becomes available.

On Sideshow. Didn't want to pay the $124.90 NRD. Not very hopeful either for ultimate. Wished they'd raise the run to 500 or have the hands on hips available separately

Yep they'd make more money but would be far less exclusive. I also ordered the reg version as I do like the crossed arms pose, if I convert then sideshow will move the order over for me. Good luck!

I mentioned that before. I have the Ultimate on PO. But after that I bought her locally, too (twice - safety first). As soon as she starts shipping and I know that everything is safe with my local dealer, and if someone is still interested we can figure something out. I think it is possible to change the shipping address before shipping.

I should have pre-ordered the ultimate but balked at the price and wasn't buying large statues at the time. I was buying the hot toys WW bvs and training figures and wasting money on repaints and other things for the figures. HT still couldn't get the face right with the JL version which I also had on pre-order. I actually had a hs stolen in the post after it was repainted for $550aud. I had no post insurance cause nothing happened like this to me before. I got $50usd back. Lesson learned there.

On the wait-list but if I don't get the ultimate, at least I have the arms crossed full version on pre-order for $1499aud. Tempted to get the training version too but that's $2898aud on statues combined.

Yep that's a great vid, I'd go so far as to say this is the best gal likeness that's not on a horse haha I agree hot toys don't even come close in terms of likeness. Training version doesn't do much for me as it looks a little bland and the shield covers a lot of it, am sure will look great next to this one though

I do like the head a smidge better on the training version but I just have to have the actual WW outfit. Glad I POed this day one. Very excited! Can't wait!

I'm excited, too. However, I have to pace out my excitement because I don't see this coming out until June at the earliest. I'd gladly wait because I know Prime 1 will deliver top quality whenever it's ready. Plus, they're only making 350 Ultimate Editions so quality control should be tops.

Yep, or the standard, whatever you want to call it. I'm on the waitlist for the Ultimate also. When payments start to be taken in a couple months, then we will hopefully see cancellations and conversions - fingers crossed!

FWIW - Payments have already started. I’ve made 4 payments so far out of 8. But I bet it converts for many of you.
