i know this is gonna make a lot of people very excited. I am happy for those who will. but i am really not digging the look of these new prime and bumblebee. and with that being said i am extemely glad i got the DOTM prime. but at least this will give the other people who missed out on the DOTM prime a chance to own one. so its still a win-win

Is it from 3D printing? looks like this Prime does not have exact likeness nor details as Prime1 used to provide.

I saw Megatron at my LCS today and I hate to admit that I am glad I didn't order. Don't get me wrong. He was huge! But...the paint app didn't look like metal. Looked like a whole of plastic to me. That's what I hated about my Sauron PF and why I returned him. For some reason companies really struggle with metal. don't get why they can't just make it look metallic. I think the problem is only with grey tones. Here's hoping they can get prime looking right

That's too bad. From the pics, the blue areas on Optimus look metallic. I just hope it carries through to the production version.

I've heard this from quite a few people now and although I was never going to get Megatron anyway, I tend to agree with Centurions post below and hope that the realistic metallic areas make it through to production rather than resemble bits of plastic

Hmmm not exactly what I wanted to hear! I've got megs on order but 2k is alot to risk, I'm wondering if the mkVII lsf or even the cinemaquette darth vader would be a better place to park my money...

I got the megatron, I was feeling the same way too but honestly its an amazing piece, when I put it together and saw it in my house, I was on cloud nine and everything I was worried about left me. don't get me wrong 2k is a lot to spend but I do feel for the most part you get your moneys worth. Even a girl that isn't into it at all that stop by my house couldn't help but say it was impressive. Don't get me wrong its not perfect but its one hell of a piece, I think overall you wont be disappointed but to each there own.

With the same size base Starscream is bigger than Megatron.

Optimus looks so small compared to Megatron and Starsceam.Is the size difference supposed to be that big?(Im not counting the bigger base on Megatron)
