Agreed. If you cover the mouth up and just see from the top part of the face mainly the eye areas, it looks spot on. However the bottom mouth area looks little off.

the mouth itself is excellent, just like the hair, eyes, brows, chin, proportions etc... the expression is unusual and maybe i would prefer to just see the top row of his teeth but it's still a 9/10 for me. I'm also a tad tired of serious Joker portraits which are a lot easier to sculpt.

that being said, I agree with those who say it should include a second head sculpt considering the price point.

Body and hair is fine, but face is off. Credit to P1 trying to pull it off, but not quite there yet on this one. Eyes and mouth misses the mark. They need to change both the expression of the eyes (something off with the eyelid and eye size) and smile to nail this. Let's hope they change it for the better on production piece, but won't hold my breath as it may equally turn out worse. Ledgers joker face is not easy to pull off, they need to go back to the drawing board and make some adjustments for the better.

Agreed, this statue could have been something great! Unfortunately, like everyone says it has somethings wrong with it. Back to square one. Right now its about a 6 out of 10. Maybe they could fix it. They told me thanks for the input when I emailed them. But it sounded like it was set in stone. Hey at least its a lot better than the side show statue LOL!

For me it's P1 first, then JND, followed by QS. Well, that's a lot of Ledger Joker options. Collectors just have to choose which one they like most.

QS and JND are equal for me as they both capture the scene perfectly. Pity the price won't be equal lol.

Both P1 and QS look incredible. I love the pvc hair and the grin on the P1 piece.
The JND one looks off. He looks much older in it and the hair does not look very good.

JND is a production piece and like QS they take criticism and improve on it, yet its pictures. I do believe most crap on it, cuz they can't afford it.
I don't see much wrong with it. But some mild improvements. Which they take and fix. Unfortunately not like prime one. I hit them up and they said we will reconsider it. Which means tough **** LOL!

QS and JND are trying to strive for consistency with the latter wanting to make a statement and take things to the next level i.e all out high quality or don't make it at all. This will result in very few selections in the future but I'm willing to bet when they make something, they'll go all out as they understand the economies of scale in this hobby and collectors will be happy to pay double or even triple for a quality replica and pay zero for one that falls below a certain level (and that level is rising up quickly).

Prime 1 still has killer pieces here and there, but focusing on a huge numbers of releases, if continuing to do so, will definitely back fire and it shows as this joker piece is not selling as fast as QS and JND.

I keep thinking about this. Given the price, I wish they would include a second headsculpt, with serious expression. We didn't need the LED.

They did market it as the 'why so serious?' approach so it would be strange to include a serious portrait but I get what you mean, an additional serious portrait would have taken this one to the next level, even as a optional purchase would have been nice.

The ES is still TBA. I'm not familiar with pending ES. I've seen also seen this happen to a few other P1 pieces but not with other companies. Any take on why this seems to be reoccurring more often with P1? If they release the price, then they should release the ES

I think this has been an ongoing issue with P1 lately. Similar to HT, they still make pretty great pieces overall, but they don't sell out nearly as quickly as they used to and some pieces have a bigger drop in production from the proto than others.

I think that may be due to JND being a South Korean company and the restrictions they have about depicting guns over there.
