Great news guys!! I emailed Prime1 Studios couple of days ago about when we would get any info and if sideshow was going to distribute here's what I got

Guys to be fair with all this price conscious stuff. There's premium high end collectibles and there's nicely done statues. SS gives you your $400 dollars worth most if the time. PRIME1 is in another league.

You wouldnt expect to pay the same price for a Jag as you would a Ford focus. Somewhat similar in design . Both nice cars and theyll gwt you where you need to go but let's be real here. Those two cars would never compare in price and it's not because Jaguar is gouging their customers. PRIME1 is a jag fellas . Sad for the pocket book but true

That's a great comparison. And you absolutely right. I probably just really want this piece. But I feel like a more affordable statue would sell better. IE: selling 1500 at $400 would be better than selling 500 at $1000.

I saw it last night, turtles were perfect. If you liked the new designs you'll enjoy it.

Story is classic Bay involved story. If you can put aside the need to critic every scene, and just go into it wanting to see the turtles done justice, you'll enjoy it.

Nah he's cool. Just his tastes I suppose. I don't think he's a die hard like me and usually i don't agree with him but he thought GotG was sick!

Hell yeah I can vouch with this homie.

Loved every bit of it. Lot of great references. Plus the director did a solid job. At times I questioned some of the things they chose; but hell it was awesome.

And seriously I might be bias because of Fox

I believe you guys still. I'm sure I'll love it. I showed my friends the clip I embedded a few days ago and they loved it too and these guys are closer to my age lol

I asked Alex about the Turtles line and she said:
Us distributing or not distributing Transformers Hot Toys items doesn't involve Prime 1.

There are no plans (that I'm aware of) to acquire the license from Avatar the Last Air Bender or Legend of Korra. We're leaving Turtles alone for now but could visit it again in the future. There's tons of new movie merchandise, current TV show and older Turtles stuff coming onto the market now as well, so there should be amazing options for TMNT fans. Seems it's have a very amazing resurgence currently!

Nice info. But I wonder if they will tackle the movie statues or no? Because in those pictures, those turtles look bigger than 1/4 scale. They look to be a similar size to those transformer statues. So if that's the case, probably 1/3 scale. Maybe sideshow will do a 1/4 scale for a reasonable price?

The statues are of 1/4 scale not bigger. This is what I read on FB by the guys who actually design the statues

People might rage and kill me for saying this. But these movie turtles are now the ideal turtles in my mind. Would be awesome if the current comic started drawing them like they were in the movie.

They look Beast for real. I like that a little because I always thought the Turtles were a little small. I'm glad they're bigger than April at least but part of me always sorta like that about them too Lol. Whatever I love Turtles big or small. As long as the characterization is there I'm good and in less than 18 hours I'll get to see my boys back on the silver screen (do they even use silver anymore Lol)
