Some looks at the statue sans wall at around 1:47.

Got a bit of a gripe with how the teeth look from the front. The fangs on the sides of the mouth appear to curve inward, rather than jutting straight down like the film design.

What do you mean blade? I don’t see this. It looks just perfect to me haha.

This is a link with a screen used head and for me it looks pretty identical about the teeth postion I mean.

By far the best alien statue on my opinion and cant wait to display it at home! By the way, did you see that the tube connectors on the base are missing? In another youtube video I saw that the owner of the figure had some problems to adjust them ibto their position…at prime 1 video (alien in box) it looks very easy to mount but…it a prime 1 video;)

I seriously considered grabbing this again last night. Clicked on it to see that they are all completely sold out. I guess I left it a bit too long, whoops. Given how well they turned out, and their relatively small ES, these will no doubt be sought after for many years to come.

Admittedly not a screen-used comparison, but here it is with the CoolProps lifesize head. Look at the fangs at the back of the upper jaw. Prime 1's fangs are very visible from the front and curve inward toward the center of the mouth to compensate. The CP's are more hidden by the other fangs and, while still slightly curved, point downward more than anything.

The bottom jaw doesn't seem to have this issue, not sure why the top does. Looking at the CP/Giger head and its famous underbite, I think the solution would be to position those back fangs more behind the other ones, so you don't see as much of them from the front view and they can be overlapped by the fangs of the bottom jaw. Then they could point straight down and they wouldn't look like their tips are being pulled into a vortex.

Again, a minor gripe and the thing looks wicked from every other angle, but from the front it doesn't quite have that Giger feel. That's something the CP and Sano sculpts have nailed.

ah! Okay, I know what you mean. I can live with it anyway. think that that little detail when you see the statue in its entirety, will go unnoticed.

to give you sn example, last night dinner made me feel bad, it was 5 AM and imagine, I was sitting on the toilet with a stomach ache… and at the same time watching the youtube video that you posted and I was saying to myself: - it is simply wonderful! haha. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I LOVE ALL OF IT. It will be the jewel of my collection. (I feel like Gollum now…lol)

Fair enough. :lol As someone with a sensitive stomach, I can appreciate anything that makes me smile when dealing with that stuff.

Some great pics from statueforum

Wonder Woman is facing the wrong direction.

But speaking of her, she is third scale as well, or not? Scale of the Chap is just a pure centrepiece. Hard to be overlooked when entering any room.

Thanks for the pictures.

The only nerve-wracking aspect of ordering these things should be the price. I can't imagine getting one months after release from a distributor and having to go through a lengthy CS process like this -- if there are even replacements left.

I can't wait to get mine and I will of course inspect it very carefully after seeing all of this. In no way am I paying more than € 2500 for a statue that is not in perfect condition ... what worries me the most is that it seems to be missing QC there because according to the video it is really difficult to break the statue, so the statue is probably assembled / painted with the problem and passed quality control??

Shocking to see that. What a shame. And the environmental aspect is not to overlook as well to be honest. It´s allot of waste.

It looks like there was a stress fracture after painting ore even after packing it up. It is a bit odd to see the plank metal rod underneath. Might it be that the resin material and the metal cause some chemical "disharmony" which can cause cracking?
