If I was going to get the museum pose, CP all the way because of the display case.

I'd suggest that Prime1 are assuming that (rightfully, in my opinion) the folks who buy their museum pose edition can easily source a display case aftermarket. The CoolProps case is certainly serviceable, but it's rather rudimentary. Indeed, I assume there are many who would prefer a completely clear case to display the creature, without the black vertical panes obstructing certain angles.

CP is 1:3 and has a replica display case
Prime 1 is 1:4 and will not have a case

You still have options. Also keep in mind that this pose has been done before to replicate the original costume at the Giger Museum. Though they are in different scales, Prime 1 is definitely competing with CoolProps and that’s awesome. Display case or not, I’m confident Prime 1 will no doubt out do CoolProps with this museum pose.

i will get the P1 because it's a replica of the Koto, love te koto sculpt and pose, always wished someone would do it in larger scale and glad P1 is doing it in 1/4. No interest for me to get another musuem pose for this piece and start to switch out the body. I think the Cool Props will be excellent for what it is so no regret i ordered the CoolProps too. It will look awesome next the Astronaut from Blitzway.

Honestly I'm really impressed with the CP piece but I'm holding my dollars for all my options to be clear to me. The display case isn't a deal breaker since I'm unsure if is even use it. To be sure though, the case adds to the overall footprint of the piece and the price since the weight and product dimensions at shipping need to reflect this thing now as well. The 1/4 scale on this may make this piece more affordable for people.

I'm very eager to see all of the offerings for the drone, warrior and queen.

Well, crap:

We would like to announce that we decide this Winter Wonderfest to show much less new products. There is no new products for Berserk or Bloodborne example. Many product we showed last Event that didnt start preorder yet. We want to focus on that first before showcase any new stuffs. New IP such as Devil my cry 5 and Big chap, Classic Predator progress is doing very good we want more time on it will be not ready to be show at Wonderfest but should be reveal trought the year somewhere with a small event that we are planning and will announce later on. Totally agree!! I’ve been on the edge of my seat for Prime 1 to obtain these licenses so if they need extra time, fine with me!! They will set the bar with the Alien and Predator licenses and I can’t wait!!

Apart from the Dog which was made in collaboration with Coolprops. All Prime 1 Aliens and Predators are 1/4.
