Well, that was probably the shortest time I’ve had a piece on order.
Paid for the regular from SC on Wednesday evening, and unfortunately received an email last night saying that they can’t ship it as there are many defects after I requested an inspection before it being shipped out.

Oh no!! And there are no pieces left??

Only the deluxe. Unlike the Jungle hunter deluxe, this is one I know I’ll never use the switch-out.

I have de dx and although at the begining I liked the closed mouth the most, I ended with the open mouth position. The mini bust is really awesome too and you can always sell it if you don’t want to display it. If you have the chance to buy one in mint condition, do it. You won’t regret it..for me is perfection

Yeah I'm nervous about broken parts. Honestly if it arrives broken I'm just going on a vacation to the beach with the money.
I didn't request an inspection because either way there are no replacements. Honestly Secret should have saved the canceled pieces for replacements.
But from word around the DX is arriving with a lot less breakages. It's the packaging evidently.

Ahh man, really sorry to hear this. Seriously consider taking that DX version if it's still available, there has to be a UK member around here somewhere who will purchase the bust and open mouth head for £350-400 or so. You'll get your statue and they'll get a bargain bust by today's prices with no import duty to boot (Anybody?) Mine should be here Tuesday if all goes well, maybe wait and see if it arrives in tact and think about it. Sorry though for now.

All in one piece. And not going to lie, it is shockingly impressive. The paint apps looks so good in hand. The teeth actually look fantastic. I'm kinda in awe. It has such a formidable presence the dog is actually having a hard time keeping up. I'm suprised tbh. The dome is easily the best of all the Alien statues every produced. Number 14/250

Both of mine arrived today (SC). I had wound up ordering both the Museum and the Action. So far I've only inspected the Museum, and it miraculously arrived in perfect shape, despite the brown shippers looking ravaged and the bottom portion of the Styrofoam (by the Alien's feet) busted out, as though it were dropped hard on-end. Big sigh of relief. Now on to inspection of the DX.

Number 95 arrived today in 99.5% perfect condition.

Had a clean break with the bone that comes off his heel. Easy fix good as new.

For those having issues with the bust and the way it balances, if you take off the felt circles on the bottom it is much more stable. You can place those felt circles along the right side, middle to back and it is even more stable.

The piece is pretty amazing. Really has some presence. I might try and figure out how to hand some chains from my ceiling around it lol.

Doh I forgot to mention.., Be careful when holding the bust. One of the tiny spines broke off.. 100% my fault. I was going to glue it back on but I can’t seem to find it.

Yeah.. not an issue at all. With the way some of these ended up coming out, I consider myself very lucky.

I think all my statues have a small break hear or there… some of them self inflicted

No big deal. This and my Big Game Jungle Hunter are not going anywhere. They will go to my oldest boy when I tire of collecting or die.
