I cant see them being as successful as the pirate movies.

If you'd have said that I'd be a diehard fan of a movie based on a theme-park ride and that it would spawn a trilogy and tons of merchandising that I'd also buy, I would have called you crazy.

he was pretty ripped in Jarhead and he keeps himself in good shape so its not surprise

I bet that with my own hoard of personal trainers and dietitians, lots of spare time with nothing to do but work out and eat correctly, and the incentive of millions and millions of dollars, I could get into that shape, as well

How many movies have been based off video games that bombed "Big" time. Now Im not saying it wont be successful but taking an idea from a ride and turning it into a movie, theres more room for interpretation. but people that are die hard fans of the video games hold these movie to stricter standards.
I just cant see it taking on the success that the pirate trilogy did.
