I was so super hyped at this stage pre-release for Prometheus.
And I still love the look of a lot of it, the design etc.
I was hoping that this was going to be a "corrected" version of Prometheus, one with the same production values but a decent script.
But seriously unimpressed with that trailer, it looks cheap and nasty, a pastiche of alien/aliens/and AVPR.
:lol

she really isn't bad looking but this hair style she has really is a boner killer....

but.....
if what she says is true, that the ship had no intention of returning to earth, that would HAVE to make her incapable of being ripley's mother, unless she left her as a baby to go on this one way mission which is just even dumber than trying to tie her into the canon line. Or she survives somehow and is the 'first last survivor' of a xeno incident....which is equally eye rolling...

I never considered Sigourney Weaver hot so personally I have no problem with them casting lead females who aren't my definition of hot. It's consistent with the prior films in at least that way.

But she had charisma. She had more personality. Attitude.

This girl is more passive

Are a lot o fans really hung up over the weapon tech ? If this is supposed to be a prequel to the original trilogy ( or four part series ) then would not the tech be a bit less sophisticated than what was shown in Aliens anyway ?

It's Hollypoop, they have to make it feel modern in order to sell the product to its modern audience. But yeah, it's funny how they still went modern here even after the success of "ALIEN: Isolation" and its late 70's designs.

Tell that to George Lucas.
1. "Star Wars" are not sci-fi
2. It's just a difference between the tech of a prosperous democratic civilization and the post-war imperialistic one.

Nope. How does it go from holograms and highly involved computer interfaces to blinking lights on the wall? :lol
