Actually thinking about it, a Luc Benson Alien movie would be kind of interesting.

I would agree with this, it would have to be better than the other french guy's stab at it!

would just be alien 4 but with more color

funny the last Luc Besson movie I saw was in Black and White, Angel-A

On the whole teaser trailer/plot leaks....I saw the teaser, and was sorta 'meh'. I'm sure it'll 'look' like an Alien movie, but story wise I am really starting to have my doubts about it. With only two of the seven total movies made with an alien in it as standouts, this one may edge Prometheus but only because it seems to be ditching the aspect which everyone despised with Prometheus. It may be just time to let the franchise stand on its own, no one can re-capture the greatness of the original Alien and then Aliens. I fear it's getting like the Terminator franchise....worse with each successive iteration...which is a shame.

The safest bet to really give new life to these franchises is to just start from scratch again. Don't bring back the old cast members and just start fresh with a new story. Its a huge universe so they have the room to move but I am afraid Alien and Terminator fans are a lot like Star Wars fans in that they say they want the old crew / feeling back, yet when its put on screen they become hesitant and bitchy about it.

Luc Besson is good, but nothing has come close to Leon. He seems to take more and more acid with each film he makes. Saying that, he is a good writer, I love Taken.

"Cinema mainly is pretty bad" says the director of "Ruben's Hood" and "Brometheus". :lol
