I think this Ryu in 1/6 will be available prepainted. They can't sell any DC ones prepainted though.

Hmm, looking at the last picture here, it does seem so. The one standing up is the 1/4 and the one laying down should be the 1/6.
Theres two different base sizes shown too. I only just noticed that. Damn my eyes are deceiving me.

As for Ryu prepainted we are also waiting for a quote from the factory before I give you all a price. So preorder date will have to wait until end of February or so.
If the factory's quote is fair that will substantially lower the price of the kit you purchased, as I will be able to lower the price on the prepainted Ryu statue.

Man its the paint and price for me. Price has gotta drop CONSIDERABLEY for me to get this. Especially with exchange rates and shipping its gotta go down... down down. Already have other stuff booked too. The cheaper the price the more im willing to invest in this companies other creations but if not then im out... not that that matters anyways. But man it sucks. The times we live in, awesome statues crappy exchange rates. But even if i lived in the states 800 is still way too much... not too much but waaay too much. Cant believe thats begining to be the norm across all boards.

I just wanted to share some information on this, after talking to Erick himself.

He stressed that quality is the most important thing to him,balanced with shipping times.

Now..people concerned with the price point, this may not be for everyone. I'm mean let's face it real quality cost money. Plus you are getting 2 statues for the price of one.

You are paying for real quality and not pretty pictures of prototypes, we all know those can be very deceiving. He and his team have matched the quality of the prototypes and made them even better. People will be able to see the products next week at E3 and on site at comic con as well, you can even stop bye and say hi and talk to erick himself.

Random considerations: I've never been really sold on this one and Prototypez in general. The paint app seems great here, which is surely a plus, and the Evil Ryu variant is another plus. I think the anatomy is off in some points, which throws me off, so it's going to depend on final price. i'm not sure if i'm reading it right but on statueforum Sosa seems to say that this will be priced at around 600$, as the kits?
