Eh... the only thing you'll find in this thread is the occasional trolling from X-Box fanboys. Search Google news for up-to-date info, or head over to the Playstation blog.

Think of this as payback for all of the 3 red rings of light jokes. At least when you get the lights though your new Xbox arrives in a few weeks or less. :hi5:

Yeah but while the RROD only bothered some people (I never got it and had 360 since launch) the PSN outage affects all PS3 owners.

I still maintain that unless you have all said systems you aren't in a position to call anyone a fanboy. :rotfl

:lecture

It's getting tiring. And I pay for netflix and while some of you have been able to access yours most of the time, I haven't. Not even once. Log in just wont log in. So I've been paying for the service, but not receiving any online time. F gaming. I can read and do other things and such. I just miss my netflix. How else can I get unlimited Family Guy!!!!! :panic:

:blissy Sorry, just feel like running about with my arms up.

Owning all of the systems doesn't make you immune to fanboyism. As long as you have a large preference to one system over another, then I'd say you're pretty much a fan boy. There are some folks on this forum who have claimed that their PS3s are only good as a Blu Ray players, but not to play any games (while at the same time, praising the capabilities of their X-Boxes whenever they get the chance).

If I could afford all of the systems, as well as all of the games that I wanted, I would have gotten them already. But, it's just too expensive. I already missed out on Twilight Princess, and Mario Galaxy for the Wii, and I never even got a chance to play Halo 3 or Reach (and Halo happens to be one of my favorite franchises).

It's all good :lol. Didn't Microsoft fix the RROD, though? One of my friends bought an Elite since last January, and he's never experienced any problems since.

One could also argue that the PSN outage only affects online play, you can still play offline and watch blurays, while with the RROD you couldn't do anything with the XBOX other than use it as a large paperweight.

Touche. Point for both sides.

FYI I'm not a fanboy. I own both the 360 and PS3 as well as the Wii and a plethora of older consoles. I just choose to play the 360 more as I like the feel of the controller and the ease of use of Xbox Live. I'm more poking fun at Sony than anything. I truly have nothing against the PS3 itself.

Funny enough you can't play all games. Capcom is saying that the latest Bionic Commando requires an online connection to play. Anyone else know of a game that requires an internet connection on PS3 (other than MMOs of course)?

The RROD was pretty much eliminated with the second and third-generation Xboxes. It was quickly replaced by Sony's YLOD, which affected a large number of the newer slim PS3 models; mine included.

Sony fanboys, please find a new excuse.
