I pre-ordered one of the 1/12 scale this morning. It’s a great looking figure. Need to find a good Lance Henriksen head sculpt for a possible 1/6th display when the larger Pumpkinhead figure releases.. good stuff. He was every bit as cool as Alien. Sadly it didn’t do the same thing in the movie world.. He is an epic monster!!!

I'm not sure if it's still in the works but I believe a Lance Henriksen figure is coming for this as well. Not sure if it'll be 1:6 or just 1:12 scale or both.

. . . the first ever official 1:6 Pumpkinhead . . .

I was just checking out the scale of my old SOTA Pumpkinhead . . . that clocks in at about 19" (with a slouch).

The height of the Syndicate 1:12 is shown as 9" - so this upcoming 1:6 would be approx 18".

Wouldn't that make the SOTA the first? (maybe the VERY limited articulation disqualifies it?) :dunno

I had the SOTA toys version all those years ago too and I believe was considered 18" scale. It was always labeled "mega scale". I don't think it was 1:4, but also too large for 1:6 scale.

This one if I straighten him out all the way he's 16+ inches.

I don't have the 1:12 to measure but I'm assuming that 9" is if he's standing straight up.

Here's a pic of him in a group shot with other 1:6 scale Horror figures:

Edit: I did a quick check on Pumpkinheads height in the film and found this:

Which if you use a scale converter online
8 Feet x 12 inches is 96 inches scaled down is 16 inches.

Looks like a fancy Neca figure to me.

Not liking all those joints
Yeah the joints are what they are. I told Jerry that one sixth collectors want realism and a lot of time will pay for it. He said doing a seemless body would be too expensive and he doesn't feel the demand is there for the cost.

So while it would be nice to have a seemless body this is as good as it will get in 1:6. Unless of course you want to commission a custom which will break $1k in cost. Plus out of the customs I have seen, this one comes the closest to screen accurate since it's a scan of the original screen worn suit in the movie. The joints are something I can live with.

I don't see any other company ever doing this or doing it better (seemless etc) I'm shocked and happy that Syndicate did so props to them.

Officially up for Preorder on BBTS! Also pretty cool to see my pics on the site! First time my pics have been used for Official Product Photos for a figure! 🎃🔥

Congrats - and thanks for the news! :)

I think I'll stick with preordering the smaller version - based on what happened with the SOTA piece, I'm a bit concerned about the weight of the body causing the joints to warp over time on the larger one.

Looking good though!

Well, even if they did....you would be in trouble if you planned to leave in box, or wanted a presentable box if you opened it. Mine arrived today, and the box was ravaged. They shipped it in a box entirely too small, and the hanger tag was folded over to make it even fit in the shipping box. This might be acceptable if this were a Bluey plush toy for a toddler. Not for an adult collectible, that is $70. I think I am about ready to hang my hat up collecting stuff. The stuff always arrives looking like it's a worn out, surviving on card toy from the 90's, rather than a new product.

UPDATE: Syndicate's Customer Service is leaps and bounds superior to NECA's CS. They responded within a couple hours, supplies free postage return, and said they would make sure the next one is primo and packaged well. There may be hope to continue collecting yet, lol. I will keep ye posted, my fellow freaky fiends.
