A friend in junior high had a comic where Punisher ripped this guy's ear off. There was a lot of blood.

Why what would that prove? Its the artistic expression. To me its one more thing to make the statue come to life. Because although no artist has translated C Ear in their strips dosen't mean it couldn't happen. After all, nothing out landish never happens in comics right? This after all is some what believable. But your right, not likely to find one.

I'm just nitpicking, but I just wanted to be sure that he was never drawn that way in the comics. I'm very, very familiar with the way that Sideshow and its team of artist work and add their own interpretation to the particular character being sculpted.

Missed out on the comi, but this does not do it for me. Will have the long wait for a 1/4 scale, fully sculpted version.

Never have been a big Punisher fan and I'm quite content with the comiquette as of now. Adding to the fact that I was never a fan of him in this outfit. Makes it highly unlikely that I'll be in the running of picking up one of these PF's. Plus this will really give me a chance to see if Sideshow will be making these 1000+ EX PF the norm. I'm willing to miss this one to test my theory. I already have one foot out the door in this hobby anyways. I'm just waiting to see if SSC will give me that final push I'm looking for with all these NO ES or bloated ES & fast rising prices...

You could have the cloth removed and get a painter to paint him for you.

I understand man, I am hoping to attain my collection in a reasonable amount of time and take leave of it myself. I dont want to over do it.

It's great to have two sculpts. That bruised eye sculpt looks fantastic. The comiquette face sculpt is still my favorite though. He looks so steroid-mad with that sculpt.

That's what I don't like about the Com. The proportions are outrageous. But that's why they make different statues I guess.
