i wasn't too impressed with this when it was announced and previewed. but i'll admit after seeing pics and vids from sdcc, i've changed my mind. it looks really really nice from the pics from the con. i think i'm gonna jump on this piece now. don't care too much for the ex so i think i'm fine with the reg.

That's how I picture punisher to look so I don't see what's wrong with the face sculpt, unless you mean like 1960's and 70's punisher where he has pretty boy hair.

i think i would have liked more of the face sculpt used for the Olivetti Comiquette with dark black hair...and to look more menacing in the eyes...:dunno

I thought the Punisher would be more popular... do people just not like this PF? I expected at least several videos on this guy from SDCC!

I wish they would have created some additional weaponry for him to hold or switch out. Thing is, if it is about cost here, I'll gladly pay extra for something that makes sense with a character.... like in this case MORE WEAPONS!

No I don't think it's that. It's probably because there was so many new Marvel reveals which no one knew off & hadn't seen yet everyone just seem to focus on them. We're known of this for awhile now

There are tons of punisher fans, they just dont want a bad statue with a gay pose that cant decide if it is a modern realistic or classic comic punisher and it landed in a really awkward in between place that makes no sense. I mean can anyone imagine a guy leaving the house like this to go fight thugs and mobsters :lol No one should buy this so sideshow will be forced to make a proper one. If they would have made a ray stevenson punisher war zone version, it would have been a grail in a few years, that was the perfect tactical representation of the character with the body armor and realistic military clothes and weapon loadout to take on whatever is thrown at him, but no sideshow gave us this thing instead. I feel sorry for anyone that tries to sell this in the future and sorry they did this to you frank, you deserved better :monkey2

You know what they say about opinions....

Alexander was tutored by Aristotle until the age of 16. By the age of thirty, he had created one of the largest empires of the ancient world, stretching from the Ionian Sea to the Himalayas. He was undefeated in battle and is considered one of history's most successful commanders.

Taken directly from Wikipedia though I'm sure you can find multiple sources to back this info up.
I don't see this pose being any "gayer" than Frank.

Not every statue/figure needs to be a fit of rage.
This is a well done comic interpretation of a classic look, best to date with all due to the comiquette.

Exactly, white gloves white boots and whole mess of dead bodies. :lol:lol

Don't forget the ridiculously good Zeck artwork. Honestly, if this Punisher PF was made exactly off Zeck's classic Punisher, I would have picked this up in a heartbeat. A Zeck based head sculpt, an accurate (love the cylinders on his belt) costume, and a MASSIVE Zeck body would have reeled me in for sure. Too many little things made this PF feel off for me personally. Hopefully the peeps that ordered this will be happy with the final result. It's certainly not a bad looking statue, it just wasn't for me and I am a HUGE Punisher fan.

I like this Pf and have it on order, yet I wish SS would do a more comic looking head like the art below. Maybe ill get one sculpted, thats if the heads removable.:)

Its what i've said from the very beginning after seeing the sculpt for the first time...its the only thing thats kept me from PO'ing it...that and a lack of additional weapons. Exclusive a knife? :slap
