Picked up a G36 which I'm going to try mod into the sniper rifle.... doesn't look TOO difficult. Also picked up the grenade launcher for under the M-4 (got an AG36), and that goes with some black BDU pants and the Loading Toys courier sweater. Still need

* vest (per suggestions... or I might pike and just ask Elvis ;-))
* body (thinking the one above looks pretty good)
* m-4 (found - need to hang out and order)
* magnum (hanging out to see the sculpt)
* 2 x mp5's (will need repaint)
* 2 x berretta INOX (will grab Beretta 92FS and repaint)
* knife (maybe stevo will do one)
* boots

Also received my head in the mail.... will probably send it off to Small_studios in a week or two for a paint up..... definitely need to keep my eyes out for an appropriate vest.

Where did you get the optic from ? Overall it looks great.

The grenade launcher isn't quite right though - it should be a shortened AG36 (the grenade launcher for a H&K G36 assault rifle, of which Ray uses the sniper rifle version the SL-8)

Zacca makes one that you should be able to pick up around the traps - I got my from goodstufftogo for $7.

Gotta ask, How the Hell did this generate such an insane fervor! I mean the movie was ok,not great, Z's sculpt is off the hook, Elvis has slayed the weaponry & vest. Everyone here is just crazy supportive. Astounding, Hot Toys, you watching all this?

Been doing some more hunting, I think the pieces under some knee pads may work well for the shoulder pieces.

So fat everything is compiled. Waiting for the sculpt (ooh it's gonna be fun to paint) I do however think I may take a crack at scratch building the sniper rifle. It's to cool not to make

I'm doing that too. Bought a G36 from Store-Rooms that I plan to mod into one. Basically the work required is

(1) remove the barrel and replace with brass tube of the right diameter
(2) shorten the magazine and add back the magazine base plate
(3) remove the handle, shorten the rail between the receiver and the handle so the handle is lower
(4) remove the folding stock, sculpt new stock

It may sound like a bit but the basic G36 is very close IMHO. My order shipped out yesterday so hopefully in a fortnight I should have something to show.

Good call on the G36, I'm pretty pathetic with weapon recognition, I'm Canadian, need I say more.

Storerooms has a perfect M4 with silencer, just need to knock together the under barrel grenade launcher & bingo

Hate to admit it but I'm also gonna make the knife as well

Picked up some fabric markers for the Barrack Sargeant transformation. Will use the neck piece from the Daniel police, knee pads interior piece for the shoulder pieces, add the holsters on the back & L under arm, damn, am I geeking out here or what,

Using this as a reference
