Progress report:
nearly done, stenciled & airbrushed the skull tonight. Just need a couple more pieces then Ray will be ready to be unveiled. Just need to add a couple of buttons on neck straps & loop & should be done. Will post images asap

I really want to see how everyone's turns out

Still not sure if I want to distress the clothing or not

Man, of course you need to distress the clothes! He's the punisher after all and he wen thru a lot of fight!

I wasn't really sure if this movie'd be good but I liked it. I think Jigsaw and Looney Bin Jim were a bit over the top but I think Ray Stevenson's Punisher is the best Frank Castle portrayal by far. Is this head still available and can someone tell me where to get it?

I didn't think I would tackle the sniper rifle, but I gave it a go after I found a couple extra G36 rifles in my parts bin:

The hardest part is done. I had to sculpt the entire stock with AVES apoxie, and I'm just now finishing dremeling the shape down, but I had to quit for today as my battery died.

After I finish with the stock, I plan to cut off the flash suppressor, cut down the magazine, notch the bottom front end to glue the bi-pod legs, trim the butt-stock from the og rifle and glue it on the newly sculpted piece. I also got to add a check rest to the top of the stock. Whew!

Then I can get started with modding the top rail piece, and scope.

I left the stock on mine alone, tried to sculpt one bit it looked so bad, I also cut down the mag, removed the barrel & replaced it with a brass tube & added a scope. Was also planning to add the bipod legs as well

Thanks Knuckle. It's my first time sculpting anything, and so far I'm pleased at the progress. It is extremely difficult finding reference material for the rifle. I've been using the IMFDB Punisher weapons page, and stop framing my copy of WZ on Blu-ray, but it's not much to go on.

I think once everything is glued, and painted it'll look pretty good. I don't know anything about casting, but if there is anyone who wants to take a crack at it by all means I lend the rifle out.

I'm doing the same thing but I used the G36 stock as the frame for sculpting the butt and dremmelled away what I didn't need.

I'll also warn your my finger hole started small like you have but I found that it needed to be bigger to accomodate the hand.

Also when you trim down the magazine, the base of the clip will fall into two parts - might be easier to replace it rather than try use the original part.
