Punisher75, I think you may be right. When Frank goes to Micro's place he draws his magnum from his R side. He holsters the Beretta's on the L leg & L chest rig.

None the less, Elvis, I love the custom work to make the Magnum fit. Very nice work

True but at the end i'm pretty sure he wears his custom magnum on the other side? But maybe i'm mistaken. :D

Elvis, just watching it. Now get a load of this: When he's fighting with LBJ in the crapper, he's got no guns at all?! But a heavily modded holster on his L!!!!!!

Enters the room chasing LBJ & he's lifting from his R side, doesn't show the actual draw.

Final bit where the Jesus Saves sign flashed out, Frank draws the Magnum from the R.

I don't care, I like what Elvis has done. It fits beautifully & captures the look.

Nice

Yeah the figure looks great, I was just pointing out that it was on the right since Elvis seems to want to get old Frank as accurate as possible. I would guess any shots it's on the left if from a flipped negative being used for a particular shot, movies tend to do that a lot, you don't catch it unless really looking. So question which body is best to use to start this figure? I am going to be getting one of Amnur's Ray heads and want to get started right away once I have it. This is my first 1/6th poseable figure, I have been doing model figures for years so painting and customizing are nothin new for me. But any help would be appreciated :)

The best is to buy a Hot Toys true type body. That's what i used for mine.

ok, got something else planned. An all new end scene magnum. All the parts are in the post as I type this. Once done, it will be film accurate within a hair.

Fast update:
just glued the side pieces & C-More on. Now it's dead on film accurate. M4 is now damn near perfect. Opening grenade launcher, distressed & OD green parts as sen in the weapons feature on the blu-ray

Next
Monster Magnum re-work. It should be 98% dead on film accurate. Thanks to the help of the good folks at Knight's Armament

Will post images of both along with needed parts

Update,
babysitting for next 5 days, however:
plan to photograph Rays weapons less the Monster magnum (still in the works)

Excellent, can't wait to see some pics! :D

As promised. Ray's arsenal. Lobo, this one's for you!

Now before folks go off on me about the grenade launcher not being quite correct, ok, I know, but I like this one better.

Also, the mini grenade launcher on the M4 is slightly longer, I know, it had to be this way so I could make the hinge work after adding an aluminum tube. That & the C-More still has the tail end on, I like the look, so it stayed. Otherwise it's as accurate as I can make it. Down to painting the miss matched pieces as seen in the weapons extra features.

Then:
On to a few more tweaks for Ray - soon, folks soon. Sorry Sideshow, Hot Toys. I think we here nailed the War Zone build.

part 2

That's it until I tackle the Monster Magnum. I promise to post images as soon as it's done to my satisfaction. Also, will post a list of parts used.

As usual I welcome any comments or criticisms.

With the exception of the already mentioned differences, I feel this baby is close to full completion. I'm not touching these weapons again.

Now if I can, I need to get back to painting. Just taking these images as clear coats dry as usual.

3 placed together go to about the chest, 1, placed like with the hand guns is rib cage level. I have more stuff planned for these babies yet

And thank you. Like Ray says in the weapons feature "the weapons are an extension (of Frank)" They are as much the Punisher as the man

Morbach this is your bible then! knucklefunger has got this one down in terms of the weapons, damn near perfection, Elvis has some great innovations for the outfit and i myself might be able to point out a few things too, plus evilface has the label for the stand etc. There's lots of good info here good luck and have fun!
