Ray, thank you but damn, your work is inspirational. I mean, hell even the poses are all Frank Castle.

Morbach, talk about jumping in the deep end. This is easily one of the most complex builds I've done more so in that all the little details are a killer.

I strongly recommend the Enterbay Jack Bauer vest as a base for this baby. It was really nice to work with & fairly easy to mod

I never though this would be this difficult or costly until I started getting into it.

Anyway, progress report. New groin piece drying overnight, quiet at work, & surprise, the parts for the Monster Magnum turned up. Had some time to piece some together, should be 90% done & nearly 100% accurate!!!!

Monster Magnum was glued together & is very very accurate, down to the number of holes in the barrel piece. I intend to post images when it's finally painted properly along with a list of parts

Ok, now that more Winchester clear coats are drying, as promised, here's my take on the Monster Magnum by Knight's Armament. Please keep in mind it is still needing some touch ups as far as some of the paint goes.

1-a magnum for the handle & bullet chamber
2-silencer from Monkey Depot

3-flare gun

All you need to do is cut the required piece from the flare gun, leave the bottom pivot so you can attach the light as well as a little bit of the barrel, then cut down the silencer, 10 holes back (yeah I counted ok)

4-Hot Toys under barrel light

5-something that will look close to an Aimpoint

That's it folks! A little paint & now you have a film accurate Monster Magnum

I believe the Sideshow Cobra Commander gun may have a scope close to the one I used. I found mine sitting around by accident in a parts bin

Very nice work.

I'm finally starting to put my together - I finally managed to get a regular true type rather than the narrow ones (well - truth be told I swapped by Marvel Studios daredevil from the regular to a narrow).

At the moment my WIP is Loading Toys Courier jacket, Black BDU pants, Arnie "Dutch" hands with fingerless gloves, Z's magnum with shroud, G36 converted to SL8 (G36 from Storerooms + G36C kit from Sherriff Morris).

I bought 3 vests off ebay tonight to hopefully get the body armour complete - still need to sort out the details on it as well as most of the other weapons boots etc but I still haven't seen the movie so its not a great rush.

Anyone able to point me towards film accurate boots ?

LA,I used a set of the Hot Toys or Soldier Story Oakley style boots. They seem to be about the closest. I paused the table flare scene & slowly paged through the frames. I ended up swapping my Loading Toys which looked great for the HT

Love to help out Elvis, it's all about sharing here.

LA, I think it's also the Chuck Morris fig that has a perfect groin protector. Just needs painting & a couple nylon straps.

Got the movie today. JB Hifi had it on sale for $A13, and it was also part of the buy 2 get 1 free offer!!!

Dinner with the olds tonight but I'll watch it after that.

Also finally got a Billy set aside to hold all my WIPs.... its scary how many are in there.

gah - went to watch the movie and the stupid checkout girl left the security device attached!!! 2nd time in two weeks - last week I bought a punisher t-shirt and the store left the security device on.... So given I won't get back to the store till thursday (I don't work near where I live, and there isn't a store near where I work) I guess I won't see this till then.

You'd think with people losing jobs all over some people might actually give a ^^^^ about doing theirs properly.

Anyway - watching Clerks instead.
