You should thank QMx for not firing me for being such an *******, acting like a crying baby or a psychopath.

OMGs I'd love to know more about that.......!
Thank you for your kind words. The workers at the factories that did our figures know these figures meant a lot more than just merchandise to me and the buyers.
I looked straight into everyone eyes and shoke their hands when they delivered the finished parts. They know my appreciation was sincere.
Most QC issues were informed by them and not the owners, so I could correct the issues before they went out of control.
They are the ones who made these figures, and you guys are the ones who supported this mission. I am just a lubricant.

My dear trekkies in the room: you are so lucky to have nanjin... I said it before: this is the future of merch manufacturing. From fans, for fans, with fans.
Then you should watch or re-watch the Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations" and that should give you all the impetus you need to dive right into the original series so you can start enjoying all of these awesome releases!
I watched some parts of it, read about it on Wikipedia, and it must be one of the most endearing ST chapters ever, built on top of the most endearing ST chapters ever! Such a great idea! Does Discovery even compare to that?
Honestly, it's never too late to start! I grew up in East Germany in a place where I was not able to watch TOS in the Seventies. Later I thought I would not enjoy it if I hadn't grown up with it. I tried the new movies but realized I don't know enough about the franchise, so I started at the beginning and quickly fell in love with it. It has good stories and great actors. You can overlook a wobbly set and simple special effects then. It all adds to the charm.
Likewise, I have only seen the one DS9 episode with the Tribbles, but one day I am going to expand my horizon.
That is a great story right there. You have beamed me back to my first encounter with TOS. Summer in some resort, filled with britons, building had UK TV channels. I knew very little English back then, yet TOS left an unforgettable impression.
And Astra you are so right about bad FX highlighting the gravitas and huge writing effort. Those humble shows put to shame everything done today. This is so sad...
Small size and flexibility is the advantage of Trek.
Let me leak a little more to you guys....
Each and every single 1/6 Starfleet uniform will be produced by a Prototyper, not mindless workers who rely on muscle memories.
I have a specialist for each series of Trek uniforms. They will take turns to be the production manager for the specific job on hand, while the other specialists become supporting staffs.
OMGs that is so awesome Nanjin! These figs are going to be a milestone in 1/6 History.
And your description of guys actually making 1/6 figs in China's production lines, as harsh as it sounds, is not that far away from what I imagined.
Little question nanjin: is Trek very loved in China?
And what segments do you discern in the 1/6 Trek market, nanjin? TOS, TWOK, TNG/DS9/Voyager and Kelvin timeline?
Enjoy your figs you all!!
