I'll admit I like sculpted hair much better, but with long hair there's really not a lot of choice if you want neck articulation.

Uhura had better have sculpted hair, though

Here's two that look nice

I can see the argument for the Civil War Widow, but there's no reason that Avengers Widow couldn't have been sculpted. It would have looked fine and required a lot less messing around with.

I think it's really a case by case basis. In Qmx's defense, their prototype of WOK Khan had rooted hair and it looked amazing. It CAN be done. And I think in the case of Crusher(and especially Troi as she often had a much poofier doo), they won't work with sculpted hair as they would be way too limited in head articulation. Especially Troi(which is why I'm guessing she seems to be the last of the main 7 in development).

Any word on the Captain's Chair yet? It's been coming soon for a LONG time now.

Its been up for pre order for a while now. Ive got mine preordered already. Target date late sept\october. (Which means November here in the UK) but its definitely coming in the next couple of months!

I think I heard Nanjin mention that Sisko wasn't ready for SDCC.
Edit- Here's what he said earlier in this thread:
Sisko actually was at SDCC. He's not at presentable stage yet.

For very long haired figures like Crusher and Troi, I prefer rooted hair, it gives you more posing options which is what I want in a sixth scale figure.

Hopefully bald with goatee. And hopefully we get a look soon.

I was thinking a TNG bridge set would be like Christmas as a kid all over again. How much fun would that be?

Hi Nanjin, can you give us a hint on the uniform, red and black or grey and black?.
I myself like the First Contact version better. For my own interest, I want something like a set of Trek uniforms museum figures, in which all Trek uniforms are included. (Original DS9 uniforms were the same as Voyager as we all know. The Sisko I have on hand is in original DS9 uniform. )

Just so I understand what you are saying- you would like it if the figures came with more than one uniform? Im not holding to what would be released (if anything) but only that if you had your way you would include more than one uniform?

Thanks Nanjin. I prefer the First Contact uniforms too, somehow seemed more appropriate during the Dominion war years. But as Sisko is my favourite Captain I'll take whatever I can get!.

I second this. Sisko was my favorite Captain and DS9 my favorite Trek. I'll take whatever I can get.

A Sisko with both unis would require two heads, with hair no beard and another bald with beard
