The only 1/6 company ever did this was CZWO. They are gone. I had extensive discussion with the 2 founders in regards to their Soccer Line because this line was exactly what TOS needed, Thin Jersey materials with lots of different body shapes. (I was looking for companies to obtain 1/6 trek back in 2014, talked with DID, ToyCity, ZCWO, and many others. No one was interested)I really wish 1/6 scale toy companies came up with a more realistically proportioned body for normal human beings. Despite the amazing face sculpts in most cases (and this line is a case in point) all realism flies out of the window when characters that are supposed to be 60s-thin look like they could be on the cover of Menshealth. These figures could do with better bodies. The current ones (especially the v2 bodies) work well with some characters better than others, but seeing a McCoy with the body of a Chris Hemsworth when in real life he had little muscle and no neck ... eh, they really should make more of an effort to present bodies that are accurate to the source.
There is economy of scale for this. Each body would need about 10k production to have any possibilities to have any Return on Investment.
For TOS, this means over 150k of initial investments just on different body shape. 1/6 Trek would bankrupt before it starts. You would have serious problems stopping any bleeding from injuries (bad situation in production), and eventually breed-out.
Therefore, any company just wanted to do 1/6 and jump into the field without a 3-5 years plan would ended up like ZCWO (planned still failed) or any failed 1/6 before them.
1/6 is NOT a wishful business that anyone can do. It is a business model that require Forward and Backward integration strategies and controllable operations. Just like a restaurant, imagine your amazing chef is resigned and open his own restaruant across the street.
The only ones that are doing this comprehensive business modeling are HT, 3Zeros, Asmus, BBICN, and Star Ace. The rest is heading to a dead end, just matter of when (beside SS)
