Placed my order today. Has anyone ordered direct with QMX before? I'm hoping that I'll get it shipped earlier than going through Sideshow and was curious if that's generally the case when ordering direct through QMX.

If they don't make Sam then they just need to close up shop on their 1/6 business. As far as Trek, it's debatable on importance of characters. Most will agree the captains and Spock are pretty much the go to characters and they have delivered on the first 2 (and most popular) iterations. Firefly was a risky license to begin with and Mal has always been the face of the show with Jayne a much distant second (and arguably Serenity being tops of the charts) but when it comes to Supernatural, it is ALWAYS the brothers irregardless of which brother is your favorite. One without the other is just bad and inexcusable.

Probably just going to be like Threezero and Mulder and Scully. A bit of time between the two, but they both eventually get made. I don’t think we need to worry about Sammy. Leave that to Dean.

Just got notified of mine shipping today. Not bad for having ordered on Saturday. I have to say, with free priority USPS shipping and that short processing time I may be ordering through QMX directly more often.

Got mine today. Not that bad in hand, but th sculpt is soft and I think the detail is just lacking. Reminds me of an old Sideshow effort. Apologies for the poor picture quality. Using a phone.

a bit better than what I was thinking - and it looks like they made some changes to the First Blade, which was my bigger gripe. How are the rest of the accessories, a bit more to scale?

I've got the sculpt, just waiting for the fig. Since it just shipped it's not made it's way into too many people's hands. Hopefully in the next week we will see some pics.

Should be a good match. QMX Dean uses Coomodel body, as a base. And my custom Dean head lives on that one. It looks good, proportion-wise.

Finally arrived! I've been waiting years for this. Since it was first announced and I had built my custom Winchester bros.
My thoughts: this is a very solid outing by QMX. Not their best work but very VERY good work. There are minor gripes to pick with portrait but it really does look like later season Dean to me. The outfit work is second to none and turned out wonderfully. The base coomodel body is one of my favorites on the market and it feels extremely tight and sturdy on Dean, meaning that I have no fear of breakages and am comfortable with this guy holding a dynamic pose for a long time.
There is some plastic wrapped around the neck though, so I'm not sure if QMX is anticipating the shirt bleeding onto it over time. The plastic is pretty unnoticeable though so I guess I'll leave it on for now.

Man, that head sculpt didn't come out as good as the proto shown.

I got mine yesterday. Haven't had the chance to take pictures, but it's great. The only thing off with the likeness is they eyes are too small. Make them about 10% bigger and it would be really close.

Here are some side by sides with the KO sculpt that's put there. I must apologize and my KO sculpt has had some issues with the paint coming off overtime so it's not the best comparison but maybe it can help some folks decide which base sculpt they like better for display before they get this piece in hand.

One thing that I really cant capture with my camera (just a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, i have no idea how to use my wife's DSLR) is how nicely QMX added Dean's slight five o'clock shadow. It's a very subtle paint application but it really adds a lot of realism to their sculpt when looking at it with the eyes.

Yep! Hahha, it was one of the first bootleg sculpts that popped up on eBay back in 2015 or so.

I think you got a knock off of the original. There was only one person producing them at the start. Anything after was pretty sub par. Here's an original.
