I'm not feeling this one at all. Looks a bit like lazy cosplay...
The most difficult part of Pennywise outfit is at his back. The tailor and I spent a few nights just looking at the info....no words...no motion....no eye contact....just silently looking at the Pennywise's back. Occasionally chat about Victoria era's fashion history. (I tried very hard not to think about Klingons because this is very similar to a Klingon outfit).
The DingDongs can be improved and the string/tide will be screen accurate at the final stage (custom made to specs).
Don't write it off yet, guys. I spoke to Nanjin on Facebook before Toy Fair and he said this:
"Pennywise isnt easy. The version that qmx will be displaying is only the 2nd draft. Lots of things are either not ready to be added on or haven't refine yet. Will make sure the final version to be good. Comments will be received after Pennywise pictures are circulated by then. Further refinements can take into consideration."
Nanjin also posted a little insight into the back of the outfit and how complex it can be. It's a pretty intricate outfit and not easy to nail on the first go. It takes talent and care to create. It's not "garbage". It's a work in progress. I'm looking forward to the finished product.
But the star of the show was Pennywise from 2017’s It! This 12 inch figure looked amazing and creepy even in prototype form, like it stepped right off the screen. It will come with additional hands, a red balloon, and the paper boat, while articulation lets you pose it in all different ways. There’s a chance there will be different versions (heads?) in exclusive releases.
A balloon and the paper boat... Really? That's it???
Way to get me un-excited about this thing.

Is this even a serious Q tho? What else would he come with?
