Klingons, Gorn, Romulans, and Andorians would be very very welcome!

:lecture
Especially the Romulan Commander:

And I know she wasn't really an Orion Slave Girl, I'd really want a Vina as she appeared as one:

Another great figure from Quantum Mechanix. Can't wait for the rest of the Star Trek line and hope they continue with Firefly.

Re: Quantum Mechanix 1/6 Star Trek The Original Series Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy

But you've got to at least have a couple of Klingons!
Kang and Kor are essential for me:

Definitely.

I was thinking of Klingons after my post, as they're recurring.

And it looks like Kang and Kor came back in other Star Trek series, but had somehow mutated back to pre-Eugenics lumpy Klingons.

That was the DS9 episode "Blood Oath" played by the same original actors Michael Ansara, John Colicos as well as William Campbell who reprized Koloth, fantastic episode btw. I'd just go insane if QMX made them from their OT appearance as well as their DS9 appearance:

Edit:
John Colicos as Kor also appeared in the DS9 episodes "The Sword of Kahless" and "Once More Unto the Breach"

This is where collecting gets dangerous, because self-imposed boundaries are easily broken down. :lol

I was already considering getting Picard, just as the sole representation of TNG, who could meet the TOS crew due some opportune time warp.

Or the real one, played by Yvonne Craig:

But that's Phicen territory.
I can see it now, Phicen Green Alien Girl! Bring it on! We need more in hand pictures of the good doctor, I have to wait until Tuesday for mine.

Just got my exclusive from QMx. The sculpt does look nice in-hand. The collar is a little ill-fitting (like in the photos above) and the sleeves can't cover the wrist joints. I haven't tried out the medical instruments, the little bitty ring or the exclusive tunic yet. Just a first impression.

If you are on the fence with the Good Dr,
I can tell you the in hand pics are even better
in my opinion than Kirk

The headsculpt came out better than expected
The medical Turnic is awesome

McCoy defintely can use a body to hide the arm joints
Any idea what would be a good option ?

I wish Spock was not as Lumpy but overall
this set is a Winner

I can't wait to have McCoy join Kirk and Spock. I rarely get as actively excited for figures these days as I am for this one. :rock

Re: Quantum Mechanix 1/6 Star Trek The Original Series Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy

Bones has arrived! Still in packaging, as I need to clear up some display space for the big three.

We need a Christopher Pike in chair!! (with simple electronics; push-button light and sound effect...) :wink1:

I got my first McCoy action figure back in 1974 for Cristmas. This is the last TOS McCoy I will need barring fire theft etc. The bar cannot be passed

Yeah well considering that if these would be priced the same as they have been, you'd be looking at about $1200 for the six, but considering how much more complex the Klingon outfits got after the movies, they'd cost a lot more than that. It would still be a glorious sight to see!

Personally, I'd like Pike prior to his injury in the pilot uniform along with Number One, after that I'll take a Pike in Chair too.

My sentiments are the opposite this is by far the worst of the three.

I do want to start with saying i do like very much and am just happy he got made and he's quite good in his own right but pails in comparison to the other two.

His sculpt is not up to the same detail level as the other two I also think the paint is the worst of the three.

The body is just A terrible choice.. it was bad for Spock but worse for bones, he's bones not he-man. Way way too buff.

I put him on an obi wan with Stan lees forearms so I could use the tunic.

But the tunic sucks. The material is too thick bulks up around his collar... looks silly
