So i just slaughtered my bank account and bought one.
Payed over a thousand euros, but it's a collectors item i've wanted very long. Feels like i can stop collecting now =D

Tell me about it. I'll be in the same predicament soon. I guess that's what happens when you "go big" and collect these massive pieces! :lol Well worth it though.

Post up some pics when you get your Hugger. :wink1:

So got my hugger, but i won't post any pictures soon. Even thinking about returning it. Massive amount of paint missing from several places.. Negotiating with the seller of a partial refund, if he goes to low i think im sending it back. But i'ts quite a decision when i've wanted this piece for so long =/ Trying to check if i can found a good painter here in my town but i doubt it.
The funny thing is, when i mailed the seller after i've got it he was very suprised and assured me that he had inspected the item, well he probably didn't unpack it from the box. It looked good in the box, but when i unpacked it i saw the flaws/damage....

Ohh, hate when I expect greatness, but get something not so great after opening the package. So sorry to hear about the flaws. I sometimes get the same email from sellers stating that "I checked for damage before sending" when they obviously didn't. Sucks when that happens.

Anyways, hope you get the partial refund that you deserve. But seriously, if you can't live with the flaws, then return it. I personally would hate to have to look at flaws everday that I can't except.

Good luck!

Hmpfh, have talked to the seller, and i think i will return it, the partial refund is just ridiculous when i've paid 1000 euros for a new undamaged item in mint condition. If i at least got 200-300 euros back i could keep it but i won't even get that... Guess that it's back to the endless search for this item.. >=/

Damn, guess the seller is playing hardball with you. That's messed up.

On the bright side. You can still find the Queen hugger on eBay from time to time. I think there was someone selling one here on the forum too iirc. The price maybe a little more than expected though.

Well good luck with your hunt again!

Oh and what was the eBay sellers user name?

Edit: here is the link to the seller here. No box and minor damage on the base. Cheap price though.

Wish I had jumped on this guy sooner :slap

I love this statue..so well done:)

A few shots-

new neighbors..

Congrats to everyone who scored this beauty! :clap

Are there any other life sized facehugger statues? Besides the one attached to a host.

True, forgot about that one. With thinking of starting to practice for statue repairs, etc. "Practicing" on kits should be a much cheaper method.:slap

got me thinking about listing the Licensed Lifesize facehuggers in my collection

Facehugger on head bust - palisades
Facehugger plush by palisades
Facehugger plush by Think Geek
Queen Facehugger by Sideshow
Facehugger Vinyl Model by Halcyon
Facehugger mask (by Rubies I think)

If anyone knows any more...

I own the 1:1 Facehugger on Kane bust that was produced by Palisades Toys WAAAY before they went out of business. Had a very small run and is a very impressive piece. :)
