I think at this point it's pretty safe to say that InArt are totally living up to their promises to be the best 1/6 figure maker in town.
I'm optimistic. The combination of quality and some big licenses bodes well, but it's very early in the game. The photos you posted make Hot Toys look like ... well ... like toys.

It's not as if HT is producing trash now but I think they stopped being interesting a while ago, and in spite of a generally high quality their production model seems to be volume based and pretty repetitive. Howard's still laughing on his way to the bank, of course.

Hot Toys are clearly shaking at the knee's going by their reactions to InArt. Rooted hair "artisan collection", multiple The Batman figures to compete with InArt, Dark Knight Joker release etc etc
They're getting outclassed -- or appear to be. I guess the next few production pieces will tell the whole story.

I'm just glad they exist, as if puts pressure on Hot Toys and in the end we all win.
100% ... although at this point I'm not in for Inart beyond The Batman, this is the first time I've been excited about the state of the art in one-sixth in years.

Yep. The dominant top dog of any business, sports team, you name it, who does not have any real competition eventually get's complacent.

This is exactly where Hot Toys are now and have been.

But they are clearly reacting, so the threat is real. Competition is always a good thing. It's also the breeder of innovation, which is great for us.

I also didn't really plan on many InArt figures, but I have the Joker, have pre-ordered Aragorn, will get Cavill Superman and Batfleck and most probably Paul Atreides from Dune. I'm totally in for any good IP's they choose to do.

If they manage to nail the sheen on that suit the Cavill Superman will be amazing. Be interesting to see how they respond to that particular challenge.

I can’t wait when they make Bales Batman. It’s going to be the next big purchase for me.

The cowled head on that statue looks horrible though and I’m not even one of the guys who knows the minute details about it

It's def not OT Customs cowl, but my main concern is how they will handle proportions and the Bruce Wayne headsculpt. Custom headsculpts can fix it, but not the body. Hot toys bicep arms are wayy too big I hope they transfer the proportions to 1/6.

Yeah, we haven't seen Bale Batman, Affleck Batman, Wonder Woman, Phoenix Joker, Legolas, Nazgul or Danaerys yet.

The list also had Mera and Black Adam but not sure they're happening anymore.

Hi All, I've been a HT 1/6 collector for years starting with the Luke Bespin DX07 2 Pack with the Awesome Weather Vane! I'm getting into Inarts but seems the distibutors are hit or miss with reviews all over the place and availability even worse. SO I'm wondering if there is a list of reputable dealers for Inarts, I'd like to get the ones I want before they're ALL gone!

Thx!
