Maybe 2026... but they're going to be offering the full 9 within 2-3 years?

By my math, if they keep offering 1 LOTR figure a year, it would take 9 years... or another 6 to finish up.

Also, if Joker 2.0 is at the bottom of InArt's list and is 2-3 years away.... but they said they're losing the WB license and WB said to hurry up if you want to do a 2.0... again, which is it? Are they losing the license in 2-3 years?

Oh it’s for sure 2026, if not earlier.

And we don’t know if they’re offering the other remaining Fellowship members at a 1 per year rate. I’d assume they’d offer Gimli and Boromir in the same year and Merry and Pippin another year.

They said doing 2.0s is the bottom priority as in they’re not looking to do 2.0s in general, but in the case of TDK Joker they’ll consider it. It’s like a “we might as well”. We don’t know how contracts are set up, I wouldn’t overthink this.

So much convoluted information. I don't understand why its so hard to get straight answers from these Chinese companies... except the fact that they probably don't know themselves from one minute to the next, and then react to social media.

I mean, if you're truly 2-3 years out from finishing the Fellowship, then you damn well know the order you're making them in and likely have some solid research going if not mock-ups and some developmental work done. These things aren't done inside a year, not with licensing, approval, factory scheduling and fabric sourcing, etc.

I'll take all of this about as seriously as the original planned InArt 1/6th line-up. Many were lost, and it took a lot longer than "one year".

They did mention they’re now working on Dune 2 figures so I’m guessing the recently released Paul will be a standalone from part 1.

Bruce Lee is planned to be their first figure with a fully seamless body. The pricing will be interesting since they’ll have to do something similar to what JND did with Joker, in order to do seamless wrists and articulated fingers.

They want to finish making film 1 figures of Harry Potter so Snape and possibly Draco this year, Dumbledore for next year. Older versions probably won’t be for another 2-3 years.

They plan to focus mostly on the lines they’ve already started like LOTR, HP, and the DC superheroes before thinking about acquiring new ones, so I’m not expecting anything from Terminator for a while even if the license was acquired.

I think you’re reading into it a bit much and worrying too much. I’ll keep it simple and sit back and expect them to complete the Fellowship at some point in the near future. What they said made perfect sense to me.

I also think it feels it’s hard to get answers from them because well a) language barrier and b) Will and KeCo are stupid? They ask dumb questions and more importantly, don’t ask good follow-up questions. So what do you expect?

Every year as they go, they’ll get better. Economy of scale, anyone?

Oh yeah about Terminator, while they were pretty tight-lipped about it, you can tell they have it or something is going on behind the scenes. Looks like it’s still the case about the licensor (StudioCanal) not wanting them to proceed yet. Unfortunately. Oh, and StudioCanal means Terminator 1 or 2 btw. Not any of the other films that are owned by Skydance.

- LOTR full fellowship is confirmed. They're not abandoning it. Gimli mentioned but not this year.
- The QC issues are their top priority. They're well aware of it and how it effects recurring customers. They're putting more resources and getting a better handle on it. The COO looks into the QC daily.
God effing damnit I’m going to end up buying that stupid Legolas figure this week.

Which one of you can I move in with when my wife divorces me.

Plan to drop 10-12 announcements this year.

  • Wukong (January, already announced)
  • BvS Batman (December, various SKUS)
  • BvS Wonder Woman
  • TDKR Catwoman (expected June/July)
  • TDK Batman
  • TWD (all three, simultaneous drop after CNY if actor likenesses are approved)
  • Thorin
  • Another Wukong line figure
  • (2) Chainsaw Man figures
Idk when Reeve Superman is going up or Harris Dumbledore (100% happening though)
They mentioned Snape likely this year and Harris Dumbledore next year.

I assume no one asked about Sirius Black?

Also wish someone would ask about McGonagall while they’re doing the first movie.
They are only focused on Philosopher's Stone right now. They seemed interested in doing many from the first, but not sure who all that pretains to. I'm sure they don't fully know at this point either.

I mentioned McGonagall early on, but didn't ask about it again.

Thanks for relaying the info fellas :duff

Happy to hear about the complete Fellowship being done. Boromir and Gimli were my main concerns/ wants after the ones we already have.

Glad that they acknowledged their QC being an issue for recurring customers (like myself). As I've previously stated, it would be nice to not have to hope to get a "good one."

Also, glad they're abandoning the magnets. It was a nice idea if it actually worked, but it definitely was more trouble than it was worth given the variability on strength and fail rate.

It sounds as though they're trying to get movie 1 figures out of the way (even though Snape's mock up suggests DH pt2), so Sirius Black is probably a ways away unfortunately

No plans at making their own TDKR Bane. “Hot Toys did it great.”

I like this attitude.

Redundancy kills this hobby, and I think it's a good metric if you're willing to tip your hat to your competitors for their good work.

That being said, I'm sure a huge influence on that statement lies in the fact that I don't think InArt could have done much better. Whatever they gain in A, they'll be deficient in B. It's probably not something they can so appreciably improve that it would make people buy again.

I think it’s primarily due to the silicone that they’re saying that. But that’s just me. I’d wager INART knows they’d do it better in terms of the costume details, mask, etc. Things that are pretty inaccurate with the HT 2.0.

Watched Will's interview:

- Reeve Superman is on the top of the list. Just not sure when preorders will be ready but hoping late 2025/2026 as mentioned in their second stream.
- Aiming for around 10-12 preorders per year.
- Batfleck is about 80-90% there. Ivan said they're really close with that one.
- June/July for Catwoman. Aimed for middle of the year.
- Talked about how good of a job HT did on Bane. Ivan doesn’t really see where they could improve on it.
- They're in the middle of talks for Terminator with the licensor so they're not able to say anything atm.
- Vehicles are not happening any time soon. They tried and found they're not good with it. Maybe in the future.
- Said for Chainsaw man "Getting license approval is such a pain in the ass!"
- They definitely want to stick to completing what they have before moving on. Meaning they don't want to move onto Two Tower or Return of the King before being done with Fellowship.
- This connects to them showing GOT so early. They don't want to start a new series without having multiple characters/figures in the pipeline. They don't want to just do Jon and Daenerys. They want to be able to put those two up for preorder while having more characters/figures to follow them shortly after.
- This applies to Matrix as well. They're not going to just do one character (Neo) and move on. They would do the trinity (Trinity & Morpheus) so that the series is "complete".
- Walking Dead aimed for March/April after CNY. All 3 are pretty much finished. Waiting on likeness approval so that's the uncertainty. He said that for a lot of Marvel/Disney properties, likeness approval isn't needed but Walking Dead is not that case.
- Frodo/Sam might be end of the year but likely early 2026 @Wor-Gar Probably misheard him on the other stream or he misspoke. His english is a tad broken at times.
- Said probably 2-3 years to do the full Fellowship but he’s probably just taking a wild guess since it’s so early. 5-6 seems more realistic.
- If they do Gandalf the White, everything would be new. New sculpt, new hands, new accessories, everything. Not reusing.
- RND cost is extremely expensive atm, contributing to the high prices. They're hoping that as their revenue goes up, they can reduce the prices across the board for all lines.
- They have the license for Gunns Superman. They have talked with their design team already but the costume has changed throughout development. Effects how fast they're able to make a figure. Talks about how much of a mess Black Adam was in that regards.
- Licensor for Ledger Joker reached out saying it was going to expire soon unless if they showed some sign of development for a new figure. Ivan seemed to suggest that there might not be anymore Ledger Jokers in the future once this expires for everyone. Laughed and said which most people will probably be happy about.
- They asked the licensor hundreds of times if they can do Nurse Joker but was denied. Bank Robber version was mentioned as something they can possibly do. Still way too early to say.
- Bruce Lee will be fully silicone. They’ve been experimenting with it for a while now trying to nail it. Seamless neck to head, wrist, etc etc. Mentioned at one point, the body had a 20% success rate and 80% failure. Some parts they have figured out and other parts they don’t. Actively working on it.
