Had to tease me with the CM, Fremen. Been trying to get my hands on that beast for years with no luck. So I settled on the 1:2 scale, and do not regret it. Its an awesome huge piece.

The CM T-800 is the best representation of the Endoskeleton on the market.

I say this an an owner of the Sideshow lifesize version.

1. Stan Winston involved in its production.
2. Most accurate Endoskeleton on the market because of #1
3. Only Endoskeleton with fully sculpted spinal cord
4. Excellent base

Only niggle I have with it is that I wish it had slightly better light up effects. The 1:2 scale Sideshow version has the blue lights off the base which is very nice. Also, would have been great to have the "slow dimmer" red eyes fade like the Sideshow versions.

If you're lucky, you can get one between 2000 and 2500 dollars.

Also note there are subtle differences between each one with regard to paint oil application, "shinyness" of chrome, how far the head is turned, etc. I've personally owned 3 of them so can attest to this.

Of course any figure where SWS is involved with will be the best.
Its a given but then the price will also reflect this. :lol
How much was the CM T800 when it was released?

Original price was 1500.

It sold out at that price and then a few refurbished units were made available for 2000.

Also sold out immediately.

In past few years, I've seen it go as low as 1700 to as high as 3500.

Thanks guys. I have no doubt the cinemaquette would be the best representation I'm just considering space, price and availability (the first two the most haha). I don't want something that totally dwarfs all my other collectables. This is why I was curious about a 1:4 scale. At the moment the biggest thing I own is the SS Alien Warrior Maquette and I don't really want anything bigger than that haha o_O

Is this cm done by hollywood collectors gallery? I see SS stocks some of their products. Do they work hand-in-hand on certain projects? How does the cm compare in size to the SS 1:2? I'm not a huge fan on the blue flickering lights.

Cinemaquette make their own statues and distribute them too - they aren't affiliated with HCG or SS.
Cinemaquettes are 1/3 scale so the endo is 23 inches tall.

This thread tells me one thing:

nekromantik is not qualified to be answering anyone's questions :lecture

Im new so sue me! :pfft:

Look on the bright side: I'd be hard-pressed to believe that HT won't announce a 1/6 Endoskeleton remake this year or next. Maybe even a chromed 1/4. Doesn't seem like anything's off-limits anymore.

One of them will happen eventually. And I'm growing more and more certain that a Police Station Shootout T-800 will also see the light of day -- it's why I'm considering selling mine. Even if I don't get the remake whenever it's released, you can't blame a guy for trying to justify making space in light of the monumental bombshells HT's been dropping on us lately. :D

Hey, it's not a bombshell for me, I'm financially secure.

All in good time! :yess::yess::yess::yess:

Samesies.

However, if they were to unload similar announcements in both the Terminator and Alien world this year, I'd get a little worried. 2012 will be intense enough with the Predator releases and lord knows I'll want them all... add some new Marines and possibly a much-needed Alien Warrior remake, and I'm doomed. Mmm, if they wait until 3rd or 4th quarter for those (assuming they are going to make them sometime in the future), it shouldn't be too bad. Let's hope HT knows to pace themselves because sometimes that concept goes over our heads. You see a lot of PO cancellations these days, even with long-awaited figures. It's sad. You really can have too much good stuff.

WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO! :yess::yess::yess::lol

It's awesome stuff to think about, though! It gets my collector blood pumping.

But I still need SST to ship my DX09 Bats first!
