no !.
It seriously is !. I didn't mean your bust specifically , I meant in general .

Sorry if it came out wrong !. :lol

Haha! No, I wasn't sure if you were kidding or not. I also think it is a really cool piece. I've wanted one of these for the longest time, and I'm glad to finally own one! I will take some full pics of it when I get back from vacation!

yeah , it was the same with me with the terminator Arnold bust.
Sideshow have produced some amazing things. :D

That minor thing will not take away the awesomeness of this bust one bit.
I always loved the saying ..

" if it can't be resolved , its not a problem ". :D

Damn, that ^^^^ing sucks man. Mine and other that I have seen don't have those problems.

I hope this helps

I would just be happy that you got it! I am sure so many would kill to get their hands on a 1:1 Predator. They are becoming pretty difficult to get nowadays and as you said they have been going for over $2000.

I have a similar thing on my TX 1:1 bust which is scuffed on the top of it's head. But as time goes on and the price of it increases that scuff just becomes smaller and smaller! :D

I am fortunate to have most of sideshow's 1:1 busts and I would say not a single one is perfect. They all have some sort of defect whether it be a missing or broken part, a scuff, damaged or missing box.

Don't let that little mark dishearten you, the Predator is one of sideshow's best busts in my opinion. Just display that bad boy proudly and start saving for your next bust!

Its too bad that you received it with some damage, but I'm betting that you could get it repaired if it really bothered you. As it is, I would still love to have it!

Hi Guys....

I'm the one that sold the Pred head to ozzfan84. It's really a damn shame that UPS screwed the pooch on this..as when I received it from a good friend of mine it was dead mint and NO plastic bag covering the head. ( Shipped from the mid west to Calif ) UPS is the biggest bunch of SOBS Ive ever seen!! If they would have shipped it right side up the weight on the head would have not rubbed the paint off....If you look at my Ebay auction...the head was DEAD MINT!!! I have filed a claim and should get the ball rolling in the AM as they will be picking up the head for an exam and then should be cutting me a check...As for the head?? Ive worked in SI-FI special effects in Hollywood..Ive been doing build ups of Si Fi Kits for years..Once I receive the head I will be doing touch up work and it will be for sale again...It's just to bad a guy wanted one for so long..gets it and UPS screws us both up.

Once I get the head back and the Check from UPS... I will be refunding his pay pal payment.

It was a bit touch and go at first, he was pissed that it showed screwed up..but I explained to him..That's why everything I sell has to be insured!!! And that we both have to go threw the proper steps so both the seller and the buyer are protected. It sucks all the way around..but you gotta follow the procedures. Ive been on ebay selling high end items for almost 10 years...My Feed back is gold!! I don't screw anyone..but I am a stickler for correct procedure. That way were are both covered..Both parties have to have patience as it takes a few weeks to get everything threw the system...But it does work in the end.

If I was you OZZy I would keep the bust with the defect. Your going to be hard pressed to find another one at a decent price.

I offered to repair the damage for him but he passed..Plus Pay pal was going to send him $600 out of their pocket to reimburse him for his trouble!! That would have brought the price for the Pred head down to $1025!! But he went ahead and filed a claim against me with Pay pal?? To each his own...So once I get it back and return it to tip top shape I'll be selling it again. My Ebay ID is RickRaiders By all means you guys check my feed back.

Yup....Oh well????

I sort of understand where he's coming from..It's a big ticket item...Cost a lot of money..When you finally get enough coin to get it..Your going to want it perfect. i would be disappointed as hell if it showed up damaged ( how ever surface rubs only ) from UPS. Just takes the fun out of it.

Youre right, i would have been disapointed too. Its easy for the rest of us to be spectators.

Go to Wal Mart, get some cheap 98 cent paints, and PAINT It. Its only a tiny little area, should'nt take more then a few seconds. Put a nice gloss over it, and there ya go!
