Question/help on why this isnt dying fulling black?

Trying to get this green holster black but it's not getting fully black any help please .

I used that dye on my Mythos Boba Fett to make a re-armored version and I think I dyed the soft goods five or six times to get it dark enough for my liking.

I don't, but I can tell you that when it's fresh from the dye it looks deep black and once it drys it turns grey. The more times I did it, the less difference I saw. I let it dry overnight each time before re-dying as well.

Oh ok I definitely need to do it more then , how much dye did you put in and did you do anything different like the directions say?

it might be because of teh pattern, you might have to swab it with alcohol or acetone and quickly remove said wipe. If not try to get yourself some I-dye. It's better for polyester type stuff.

Ok just bought some idye thanks I'll try the acetone also I think I have some .

You have to do it multiple times. Be sure to add salt and dish soap in boiling hot water. Let it sit for ten+ minutes. You can also add some black acrylic paint and it'll stick like dye.
