Holy crap this has only made a little over 27 Million worldwide.
Stephen Spielberg predicted this. He predicted that more and more big budget hollywood movies are going to tank,while small budget movies are going to make it big.

The previews on this thing made not want to watch it, it's not just one actors fault though the whole thing look bad, I wondered what drive somebody to get involved with this, maybe the scrimped look better than what they did with it?

That will apply to new films never done before , not franchises like Middle-earth,Marvel,DC,Star Wars, Harry Potter,Terminator,etc type of stuff will always rake it in.

To a point. I honestly think Trans4mers might bomb. Or at least under preform. I think people are getting sick of it.
Frankly, the MIB movies suck, too. Even the first one. And while Tommy Lee Jones is awesome, he's still no Jeff Bridges. Also, say what you will about Ryan Reynolds... I don't find him 1/10th as annoying as Will Smith.

Ryan Reynolds is always pretty good when it comes to comedies.
The guy can make me laugh. I think the problem is when he tries to do action.
I mean, think about it. That's the reason he was good in Blade. Because he was being the funny guy in that movie.
I really like him but I do not think he is a good fit for action or serious movies.

After this and the equally terrible looking Seventh Son, maybe Jeff Bridges will give it a rest with the funny voice roles. Ryan Reynolds, that dude is box office poison. I bet they don't let him within a country mile of a lead role again.
That's a good thing, as Reynolds is best in supporting roles, particularly lighthearted ones.

When you factor in DVD sales (thanks to Netlix, I'm sure) most flops eventually make their money back. Studios dont like to advertise this, as they like to write off a lot of movies as losses.
Even New Line claims Lord of the Rings lost money.

Deadpool will bomb if they do the R-Rating thing....I just don't see the need for it to be R.

Probably. I can see that. Popular with the comic community, I have no idea about mainstream.

I thought it looked fun. 
I liked MIB and MIB 3 (skipped #2). I'll give it a rent.
And yeah, I think RR is pretty good when being funny. I had high hopes for him when he started starring in movies, since I had seen him in the TV show 2 Guys and a Girl and thought he was hilarious in it. Unfortunately his movies for the most part have been utter ****. Best Friends and maybe Van Wilder is probably as close as it gets to how funny he can be.
