I think the idea of the numb look is the most fitting choice but it didn't translate perfectly in practice; I don't think it's the "numb pushers'" fault; this is just what RM did with the idea. If the mouth were a little different that would've helped the look and the doe-ish eyes are really what's softening it up IMO.

It was one more example of Rainman trying to please his vocal audience. I'm sure he feels like he is in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation when people ask him for something, he does it, then he gets slammed for it for whatever reason. If folks don't have confidence Rainman can execute something well enough, it may be best not to ask to begin with. Because then I think it's going a bit far to say, "well you know, I don't like how you did what I asked you to do Rainman. Try something different, like X, Y, Z."

I said on a couple of occasions that I was on the fence after those washed out pics were dropped. After the banner shot was shown I was back in and have been since. Learn to read
My issues with the sculpt haven't changed and I think I've stated that clearly. I think that there are a couple of more areas that have room for improvement aside from the eyes and nose, but as I recently said, those were the only two things I'm even bothering to mention. I'M TALKING ABOUT THE WAY THE EYES ARE PAINTED in case you're not able to understand what I'm saying. I'd like to see the pupils painted like they appear in the first PS'd WIP pic (MORE DI NIRO) and not like the latter.

I agree they are the same except for the brow. That look, to me, adds character to the overall appearance. I don't recall if that was an exact look in the movie, but it is more appealing to me visually.

My words are clear so don't try to extract the word "insane" and twist it into something I'm not saying. My words:
"On a brighter note I'm really happy that he's tackling Bickle to the fullest. The build up sounds great, all tastes are covered and everything shown so far looks insane. The sculpt has its areas where it could've been improved but not a deal breaker for me. I'd hope that a better paint app for the eyes is on the horizon, but if not there are capable hands around that could fix that to my liking."

My thoughts on the sculpt remain the same including it being "solid" and "pretty good". I know you have to leave my positive comments out to try and prove your BS senseless point. It ain't working. You either can't read or you're really reaching. And believe me, Rainman posting isn't going to change the way I feel. I speak freely assuming that he is aware of what's talked about in his threads.
I'm even starting to annoy myself with how much this back and forth is taking up the thread. I think I've chewed you up and spit you out enough already. Sooooo... I'm gonna just chalk it all up to: I'm a sheep & you're a jerk-off with a the reading comprehension of a 1st grader.

The project is finished and we all need to understand that and just wait for the final reveal. It no longer makes any difference if something is off or not at this point.
The constant I am right and you are wrong is getting old.
This is a freaking action figure for Christ's sake. Rainman is a man, not a God. How grown men make this **** a constant issue is funny. It's done, we have had our say, Lee has made his figure and that's it.
Buy it and enjoy it. Don't and put your funds towards something you will enjoy.
